Dwight Gayle is leaving Newcastle whether on loan or a permanent deal.

Hes got 2 years left on his contract so unless Newcastle pay up the remainder he’ll most likely go out on loan.

At 32 he’d do a short term job for us.

I think GvB has reservations about Itten and Sakala and understandably has concerns about Roofe’s fitness.

Gayle would be a poor signing IMO.  Not that great a player, surprised he managed to find himself at Newcastle to be honest
