So to summarise the SkY deal is it ?

£25m for 48 SPFL premiership live matches(current deal)

£30m for 60 SPFL premiership live matches(new deal)

TWO POINTS:
1)given the fact that SKY don’t use their full allocation (they only televised 41 games last two seasons IIRC) why allow them 60 games ? They won’t show 60 will they?

2) There are 228 SKY premiership games each season. In new deal SKY will show 60 max. What about the other 168 games?  SKY have exclusive rights to them don’t they? Makes no sense to me. Could Rangers, say, not be allowed to sell homes games to another broadcaster?

Yup SKY now own all 228 games. Until 2029

A rise in payment that won't even keep pace with inflation.

Brutal.

Surely not. A broker to end up with a contract extension on poorer terms.

Even the SPFL aren't that incompetent surely.

Dave Cormack is most comfortable in his role as a Sellik fluffer.

He certainly isn't very good in hiding stuff when on radio (2020) or on twitter.

As far as the SPFL executive are concerned, he is a bit of a loose canon.

They also pay a few hundred grand in salary to a CEO whose stock line is...."I can't do anything without the say so of the member clubs".
