Davies was my MotM with another composed performance.  Just a pity we're not going to see him develop a partnership with Connor Goldson any time soon as I think that would really have helped us at the back - especially with Tav far from fit.

Yup, Davies for me. You can see why we spent a decent chunk of change on him. Looks calm and composed. Hopefully we can keep him fit. His partnership with young King was a positive from yesterday. Both can step out and pass the ball out and build attacks. Davies and Goldson when both fit will make a great pairing.

Tillman brought the necessary to the game to get the 3 points when no one else looked like doing so.

 

It was also notable how much he got involved in the rough and tumble. He seemed determined not to be kept on the periphery and although he wasn't very good at it, it signalled a willingness.

Wouldn't judge him on yesterday. Opposition were terrible and had the penetration of Sebo with a hamstring tear.

 

Same for the Tillman goal. The defending was schoolboy like.
