Stats always tell us something useful but how much volume does it really speak to compare Kent to Kyoto, who spends his days parked in front of goal while Kent is asked to provide width.

No but it would be sensible to compare him with someone like Jota, Meada, Duk who have played similar minutes and have a far better output.

These stats back up what I can see why my own eyes watching Kent for years, he is not clinical enough in front of goal.

Compare that with Sakala who despite looking like a guy who won a competition to play for Rangers at times has a far better output.

Finally got round to watching the highlights from Saturday's game. Still very puzzled as to how the Killie goal was allowed to stand for a clear foul on Goldson for climbing? Not one bit of discussion on this on Sportscene either. FWIW, I also felt our penalty was harsh.

I would be keeping tabs on Anderson, Miovski and Duk, too.

Anderson potentially a cheap 3rd choice striker and its not a bad idea. I think Miovski and Duk would be far too expensive for us.

Also i believe there were rumours we were after him in the summer.

No doubt it hit his arm but I didn't feel in was in an unnatural position when he was running at space and vying physically for the ball.

The rules are the rules but it's a nonsense IMO.
