I only read half of the first paragraph but it was a valuable exercise because I can now identify the targets of wrath. I’d thought they looked a bit like Davie Wilson and Archie Knox and wondered what they’d ever done to offend.

I think it’s far far too early to say if the Beale appointment was lazy. In fact, I’d say aside from the cup final defeat, he’s done a decent job turning round the squad.  Mistakes have been made, and there is much to improve, but a lot of criticism is because Celtic have been relentless, rather than because we’ve been poor.

In the league mistakes may not cost you the title, In a cup game they usually do.

MB was the guy who spoke about signings not being squad fillers, legs in midfield etc.

It’s all about money or in our case lack of it if our coffers were full and bulging Beale would never have got near the job until the financial bind is addressed then we had better prepare ourselves for the long haul .
