This was one of my concerns with Beale being appointed manager: not giving youngsters a chance.

 

He says he likes to work with young players, but when has he ever given them a chance? SG, likewise, didn't give them a chance.

Let's put it this way: I wouldn't throw them on from the off either. Yet, we essentially go 4-2-3-1 again, when we might easily have thrown in Matondo on either wing and play Sakala next to Morelos. 

 

Anyway, having Raskin fit means that we look more attacking than with Jack and Lundstram. It has to be clear where everyone is, as far too often, our "attackers" rove around and we have far too many open spaces and thus the defense can cope with us easily enough.
