Even then. I said this last season, I said it every time folk criticised Kent for not scoring enough. 

 

Absolutely he didn't score enough but folk did not make any allowance for the work he did pressing and defending. 

 

I think we will need to play dowel out there to compensate.

Kent had to learn to do it, Lammers could too.

I see Kent scored on his competitive debut for Fenerbache in 5-0 Europa Conference League romp. I also read that they might loan him out as they are buying more wide players. Not sure about the truth of the latter...I think it came from the Turkish equivalent of the Daily Record...

I agree he did a lot of tracking back, and it is possibly no coincidence that in all three pre-season games the right-back gave us the most problems. It is of course an attacker's role to score and assist, and that is where he fell short. How often did you see him breaking a gut to get in at the back post to score? Not often in my view.
