The only real choice for now is an interim manager. Problem is there is no real stand out candidate as a permanent appointment. Young up and comers won’t want to risk it with us and experienced decent coaches won’t want to see their reputations tarnished after a bad time with us. So what’s the move here? Hope the interim team does well and gets us to the end of the season and a candidate emerges. Hope Steve Davis emulates Xavi, Guardiola, Gerrard etc and turns out to be a managerial masterclass? I haven’t heard one name mentioned in terms of the job from ‘bookies favourites’ that I’d have confidence in. Interesting times ahead.. I don’t know for sure but if what I’ve been told is correct we’ve been talking to managers since the Celtic game. That suggests to me our esteemed board were planning to ditch MB & his coaching staff.
