[Official] Rangers part company with Beale

Recommended Posts

I don't know where this hysterical drama is coming from but it's entirely normal to appoint a caretaker/interim for a period after a manager is sacked.

It's just being used as a stick with which to beat the board.... see what I did there? :D

Pretty sure the latest appointment backs it up, as did the rest of my post that you chopped off.

Reminds me of your match thread comments.  Constant reactionary negativity.

The board made the correct decision getting rid of Beale - he was a joke.  None of us know how Davis will do, how long he'll be manager or who is lined up to take the role on a permanent basis yet, so chill yer beans.

He had to go. Hopefully this is a catalyst.

Tbh some of the names I'm seeing online are giving me the fear.

Would be worth looking at managers outside Europe (not Muscat!).

Someone like a Mosimane, can't even pretend to have watched his teams but everything I've read and watched about him is good. Revolutionised African football by all accounts.

There's bound to be others I don't know but that's an example of someone who would be interesting. Rather than a Derek McInnes, jeez-o.

Literally, aye?  So you know exactly what the board are thinking and what actions they're taking - interesting.

Ach—you always get the usual names passed about, mainly because they're the only names some of those online know.

Mosimane is a cracking shout, but I think he's currently in a well-paid job in Saudi Arabia?
