Rangers FC will pay €5.3 million for Mohamed Diomande. That's 40 million kroner. FC Nordsjælland will wave goodbye to him very soon, as medical checks and signatures are being arranged. Other clubs have also bid for the profile, but the Scots are getting him.

I did feel the original quoted cost was on the low side but it may be this fee is for the total package including any add-ons.

 

In any event this is a big money transfer that we simply must get right in terms of his contribution at Rangers and when we inevitably move him on - hopefully after his value has substantially increased.

Let’s hope we don’t let his contract run down and let him leave for free, fingers crossed he performs well and slots in nicely all we need now is a decent Striker. Only got 8 days left!

To be fair to the board, many (including myself) were calling for them to  back the manager with some funds this window.  So even if the quoted numbers are the total value of the deal, I'm pleased to see this deal happening.  Crucial he lands and makes a quick impact

Just watching the Rangers review and there are some moaning we are spending big on a midfielder, jeezy peeps man some people are never happy
