We dominated the game but were wasteful on the ball and with scoring opportunities.  Having said that, the turnaround in these players is remarkable and we should have had a few more goals.  Yet again the decision making of the match ref and Var was questionable.  We had a perfectly good goal chopped off and a certain penalty denied for a non-foul.  Thankfully this incompetence did not affect the win.  I was really worried about this one pre match.  We still need another striker and a right winger.

Dessers goal must be a contender for goal of the season. It doesn't need to be a 30 yard screamer of an acrobatic cart wheel. His goal was simply sublime.

I think so. Interesting to hear him say how much they work on that, amongst other things, in training, how they try and feed the quick direct pass in situations like that, it was a great pass & finish.

Actually the Cantwell goal was similar regarding the inside pass from McCausland.
