ian1964 10,416 Posted December 7, 2007 Share Posted December 7, 2007 Calling All Fans WITH the help of you the fans Rangers FC is again planning a colourful card display for the forthcoming UEFA Champions League game against Lyon. This time the display will incorporate the words from famous Rangers song Follow Follow and will be a colourful display with a red and blue background with white wording. As with all the other fantastic displays created by the Rangers fans we will be looking for volunteers, it could not happen without the help of our great support. If you haven't been along before, why not come along and help out with what should prove to be another great display of colour from the best in the business the Rangers support. If you wish to help set out the cards report to the Argyle House Reception on Sunday between the hours of 1pm till 5pm, on Monday between the hours 9.30am 5pm and if needed again on Tuesday between 9.30am 5pm. In the more recent european home games the fans haven't really gotten behind the team for the full 90 minutes. Years ago when we were playing against the likes of Parma, PSV, Bayern Ibrox was rockin' for the full 90 minutes but more recently the fans have sung for about 10 minutes then it goes quiet. Laudbertz 0 Posted December 7, 2007 Share Posted December 7, 2007 I always enjoy the card displays. ... and the noise the crowd made before and during the first 15-20 mins of the Barca game at Ibrox made the hairs on my neck stand on end, and i was watching it on tv! The crowd is always going to have loud to almost silent spells, but i think the card display helps a little. The card display in the other games were great, especially the barca game when we sung over the champions league music Ibrox will be rocking, an early goal for us would be amazing.
