I'm sure those who made the decision to go for him know a lot more about it than I do, and I hope that they've made the right decision. Gerrard pulled out the race after initial interview (TV role and pressure from family) and Ancalotti informed the club he is no longer interested yesterday. Not who I'd have liked, bit it shows the new board aren't afraid of making "unpopular" decisions if they believe they are correct (the complete opposite from previous boards). I take heart from the Leeds poster on twatter who said all that stuff about the board not doing what the fans want, but go with it, as they know their stuff. The likes or Therwell and Purdy will look down south as the be all and end all of football. No doubt the rumours about spending a fortune on wages for the likes of Vardy and other EPL has beans is a glimpse into our future. Talk about a false dawn.
