A photo of a legendary player/manager and a play on Star Wars on May the 4th. As for the response of the CEO, deary me that does not bode well. Genuinely baffled by it all. The same nutters out there that are saying Kneecap should be able to play Glastonbury etc after saying "kill MPs" and "up Hamas" are condemning us for this play on words banner in a football rivalry. I can only laugh at the madness of it all. That lot have put up far worse TIFOs and banners etc and the police have never came and bundled it away into a van the day after 😂 it's fucking absurd.
Sutton_blows_goats 6,221 Posted Monday at 14:29 Share Posted Monday at 14:29 Don’t understand why people are so baffled / surprised by this. It’s so utterly on brand for the board.
West London Bear 53 Posted Monday at 15:13 Share Posted Monday at 15:13 The interesting thing for me is that I personally just found the display yet another fantastic effort by the UB's. The only time I feel they let themselves down is with the pyro when they know its going to bring problems. It was actually the club's statement that had me thinking. But as others have said and even evidenced. The filth have had far worse and far more offensive on display and on the only occasion I can recall where the police got involved, the evidence went missing. I'm not the biggest fan of Souness given how he left us, but then again I could take the positive from it and say that it gave us Sir Walter, however that image of him with the rifle is an absolute cracker and that Tifo was right on point (a bit more to the right would have been a bullseye). For those thinking that the prospective new owners are unaware of all of the rivalry and that this might backfire, I think you will find that due diligence would have highlighted this to them right up front and given that we have an attitude towards our own nation that is positive and upbeat, I hardly think that this would have made a ripple with them.

Like they've actually came to Ibrox to bundle banners into a van and take them away for evidence 😂 what crime are they even investigating? Going to charge about 15,000 people with public order offences? It's overreaching madness.

I never knew about this. We should probably ban everybody in the Copland stand for participating.

Uilleam 6,471 Posted Monday at 16:45 Share Posted Monday at 16:45 Even 'rebel scum' aren't offended, it would seem. So who in Poileas Alba, the Crown Office, or the SNP Politburo sobered up? "HH", I assume, as always, means 'Heil Hitler', which I, and many others, find offensive.
buster. 5,661 Posted Monday at 17:00 Share Posted Monday at 17:00 (edited) If it was a play on the Star Wars line then will Andrew Cavenagh dress up as Darth Vader, next time he visits?
