Sorry to see him go, his fitness record is appalling but when he does play he rarely lets us down. Can only imagine we cant come to an agreement regards wages.

He said in his leaving message he didn't expect to be leaving or he would have had a proper lap of honour for our last 2 games.

Balogun knows how to defend. I like that in a defender.

Shame he wasn't aware of his contract not being renewed, the very least we should have given him a good send-off.

Very shocking indeed especially given the service he has given us, is this due to him calling out the teams poor performances? The very least he should of been given the chance to say goodbye to everyone at Ibrox.

Hopefully Tav can get a place for him in his back room team.

Davies and Dowell will return to us for the time being ...

Birmingham City can confirm the list of retained and released players following the conclusion of the 2024/25 season.

Grant Hanley and Lee Myung-Jae – who both joined the Club in January - have been released following the expiration of their contracts, while Luke Harris, Kieran Dowell and Ben Davies have returned to their parent clubs following respective loan spells.

Injury prone and getting on. We need to come away from the sentimentality surrounding these guys, if we're ever to maintain any level of success. He was a (very good) stop gap signing, thanks and good bye.

Fully agree.  His fitness record is poor and cloying sentiment hasn't served us well recently.

Footballers go where the money is and get paid a fortune, so getting emotional about them is just silly.
