I'd say his position is secure as he's the only one who's getting the goals unless we unearth the next Sam English .

We don't even know who the new manager is, so I don't think anyone's position is 'secure'.

 

If we start next season with Dessers up front, I'll be annoyed.  Two seasons is two too many having to watch him.

As far as I'm aware, we are allowed to start with eleven players if Dessers is unavailable.  Igamane is a better finisher than Dessers and a good manager would have played him up front more often.

One of my unsung heroes of the Souness season, Stuart Munro, said in a video cassette compilation of the 87/88 season* (methinks), that Rangers always had  and have people able to score goals. But it is now equally important to have defenders doing their job on a same high level.
