Thursday's game - odds

Recommended Posts

When Bremen came to Ibrox, they were available at around 2/1 with us marginal favourites at 13/10 approx (varies with bookies and my memory of the odds :D ).

For this weeks game I notice they are 4/7 with us available at 5/1.

Now I think the odds for the first game were probably fair enough. We weren't expected to win comfortably. However, in light of that result I am suprised about the odds for the return. I know they have a great home record and I don't necessarily think we'll go there and win (I do believe we'll score).

5/1 seems long to me for a team who won the first leg convincingly.

Werder are famous for turning round bad away results and already turned round a 2-0 first leg defeat this season. I think we will need a goal, hopefully we get it quick as i don't really want a nail-biter.

I think we'll win it tbh.

Is JCD still banned or has that passed now?

I certainly don't see us losing more than a 1-0, 2-1. However I can see a sneaky 1-0 win if Cuellar and Weir can keep the back door locked.

Usually get a "feeling" on the day of the game.

I had us on at 6/4 in the first leg but Spurs cost me my coupon and they were 8/13.

14/5 is a nice price for a draw. If it was 3-0 in the first leg then the bookies would think they game is beyond Bremen and wouldnt give them so much a chance to come out and turn it round and our price would be shorter. But they obviously think Bremen have a chance and will come all out and attack hence the 4/7.

I may take the draw.
