Squad for Sunday

Recommended Posts

Beasley - Long Term Injury

Naismith - Cup Tied

Novo - Suspended

McCulloch - Thigh strain

Cousin - Injured

Darcheville - Dounbtful (Hamstring Injury)

By my reckoning that leaves Boyd up front with possibly Ferguson.

Eek!

I doubt very much whether WS will give Lennon or Fleck a starting place or even a subs appearance on Sunday. Maybe he'll have no option but to put both on the bench but unless we're 3 or 4-0 up then I can't see either playing which is a shame.

I would be annoyed if Buffel or Gow got to play. Why ignore them for the whole season, when you have had ample opportunity to give them game time, and then bring them in when you get a couple of injuries and suspensions. Dont get me wrong, I would back the players if they do play but Walter should have been playing them regularly to keep them sharp for exactly this kind of eventuality. I've said this most weeks too. We would not get a better opportunity for the rest of the season than against Gretna a couple of weeks ago. If Walter had given Gow and Buffel 30 mins each against them and perhaps the odd start here and there then I would have no problem with it.
