...load of codswallop :brick: As a Celtic fan im sick of hearing about them, from ourselves and latterly from Rangers fans. Some you win ...some you dont  .When in company out socialising and a fellow Tim starts that pish ,it bores me to tears and i find it quite embarressing TBH:sleep:  .Ive always said that i dont believe in conspiricy theories towards Celtic and similarly they dont exist towards Rangers. What we have are just very bad referees and equally bad people who ..ahem "run " the game.Whilst im glad we won the league,im glad that it took right up until the last game to win it .I just wish Hibs ,Hearts ,Abaaden and Dundee Utd could last the pace a bit longer, and make it a 3 or 4 horse race for a change

In the long term referee's decisions will probably get evened out. It is just unfortunate that Celtic got so many creaky calls this year which handed them the title. If the Aberdeen disallowed goal had have happened in September it would have been forgotten almost instantly. Because it was so important as to where the title ended, it will be remembered for years to come.

The standard of referees at tha moment is shocking. The amount of high profile mistakes this year has been unbelievable. I accept that there will always be a degree of human error but this year it has been taking the piss.

The problem was that it wasn't just the Aberdeen game. There were about 6 games in a row that Celtic benefited from "dodgy" refereeing decisions. Some of the games during the season were outrageous, including Falkirk away and the second Rangers game.

Note the difference in the press treatment of the referees. All these games and hardly a whimper, but yet Michael McCurry ends up getting his personal life platered over the papers and there are 8 page specials on his decisions.

His house gets attacked on more than one occasion, and he has been hit by coins from celtic fans twice I believe.

Intimidation works.

I agree it was a very bad decision, but it has been missed by most that Georgios Samaras had 2 goals chopped off that day,of which at least one should have stood.Dont get me wrong i breathed a huge sigh of relief when the ref gave it as offside ,but it should be noted that the whistle had gone roughly 2 seconds before Diamond "scored" and the players round about had stopped. We got some breaks this season..no doubt. But retrospectively it wont show that in the record books

Both teams over the years have had "dodgy " decisions go their way. I could haul up instances where Rangers have had dodgy decisions and likewise you could do the same with regards to Celtic.I think that in its self helps the argument for saying that they even themselves out.I cant comment on whether McCurry has had his house attacked,if true then obviously im not going to condone it. I thought the 8 8 page specials where due to his love life??

They were down to his love life, but at the same time, would it have been such a big story had he not made such high profile errors? I personally think its despicable, a newspaper carrying out a character assasination like that. And aslo, that wee bird he was pumping. Not bad at all.

McCurry's house attacked in 2003:

Threatened with violence in 2007/8:

i believe Ian Brines has been messing around as well. No sign of him on the front page. I wonder why?

It happens in the media all the time and to people from every walk of life. If you upset the people at the top of the tree then expect a prompt character assasination in the papers. Some papers in Scotland are run by sellic fans, some by Rangers. Which paper was it so I know never to buy it again???
