I have heard that viewers of yesterday morning's Andrew Marr's political show on BBC1 were treated to the depth of the Kohli family's preferred prejudice. Hardeep compared the Israeli army's invasion of the Gaza strip to some Rangers supporters' behaviour in Manchester on the evening of the UEFA cup final. Five hundred peoples' deaths trivialised to get a cheap dig into Rangers and Rangers supporters.

 

Andrew Marr countered, "not a Rangers supporter then"? Hardeep did not miss the feed, "what, with this colour". Not content with trivialisation of a deadly serious event unfolding as he spoke, no, he joined his brother, Sanjeev and told the BIG LIE. Yep, Rangers supporters are racist.

 

Well done Hardeep, congratulations on all those congratulatory texts and calls from your fellow members of the Establishment for sticking it on ra Huns on national TV.

Yep, that's the one.

 

Several years past in the Sunday Herald's supplement, 'Seven Days'. The Editor was a Yahoo, Charleen Sweeney, she gave Sanjeev a front page, double page spread to articulate why he changed allegience from Rangers to ra Sellik. He explained that it was events of the 2nd January'88, while attending said old firm match at ra Piggery, he witnessed Mark Walters debut and saw his then fellow Rangers supporters dressed in gorilla suits pelting Walters with bananas.

 

An absolute lie, the kick-off was held up for 6 minutes to allow the Sellik groundstaff to clear the bananas in front of the jungle; further, the second half restart was held up for another 6 minutes for the same reason. The front page headline in the next day's Sun was, "Yes, we have no Bananas", explaining east end Greengrocers had sold out of bananas, such was the demand from the green'n'grey hordes.

 

The next week's Seven Days supplement was most interesting, the Sunday Herald's correspondence page was included in the supplement. The Editor, Charleen Sweeney controlled the correspondence, she knew Sanjeev had told the BIG LIE. Four letters, two from Sanjeev's brothers, another from another Sellik fan postulating on the perniciousness of racism(clear interference), and a single paragraph effort from a Bear telling the truth of that day. The next week, Charleen Sweeney stated no further correspondence would be published as it did not further the attempt to deal with the very real problem of racism.

 

Why did Sanjeev indulge in the BIG LIE? Why has his brother, Hardeep returned to the BIG LIE on national TV?

I should point out that Hardeep shared the couch with face liftee, Anne Robinson. She achieved alcoholism by the age of 27(like her mother before her) and is the product of a private RC Boarding school. After Hardeep's retort about his colouring dictating his non-support for Rangers, she touched him and offered, "good man".

 

I wonder how Satty Singh feels about Hardeep's hatred?

Good point about Satty mate...

 

The man is a gentleman and as big a bear as I know. Perhaps he should be made aware of this slur and be asked to contact the show. The programme has had Asian businessmen on it reviewing their papers before.

 

I wonder if they'd be interested in giving an opposing view...
