26th of foot 5,857 Posted January 27, 2009 Share Posted January 27, 2009 GMP arrived in Glasgow several weeks past and began presenting these photos to CID/Uniforms/civvy staff. A good few of those attended the UEFA cup final and asked wider questions about command and control. Particularly the downing of the screen because a van full of communications equipment was situated behind it, surfing against it. A GMP Chief Superintendant refused to move the vehicle, thus the screen remained down. However, there were too many people in these zones to start with so problems were always going to happen.
