We played 3-5-2 under WS sometimes in the 90s but he had the likes of Craig Moore in midfield.

Teams have now opted for a flat 4-4-2 or the Mourinho style 4-5-1 which makes teams much harder to break down.

Im still a fan of 3-5-2 if its worked properly but the problem is having defensive cover in the wide areas. You need a workhorse to sit infront of the defence to cover each side, or to cover the centre half who moves wide.

When was the lastime we went 3-5-2?

My first thought was Advocat but sure he was strict 4-4-2

I wonder if WS has actually tried a 3-5-2 in training?

I'm now trying to think of how many teams play 3-5-2 but my minds gone blank.

Nah i'll leave it.:)
