Trip to JJB - Our Clubs preferred supplier

Recommended Posts

I regularly travel on business in Europe, the Middle East and SE Asia and it seems everywhere I go I see sellick shirts hanging in airport shops. This is undoubtedly the Nike connection at play but isn't it ironic (or is it typical) that you can see the green and grey all over the world but you can't buy a Rangers top in your own back yard.

Rangers, a club run by mental midgets whose business accumen is more often spoken about than seen in practise.

The whole JJB deal was a disaster and SDM does not have the integrity or honesty to admit as such - therefore, we are stuck with the marketing shambles until finally JJB fall over the edge.

I'll still argue that it was a good deal financially.

Yep, was going to post the same.

The financial aspect of that deal was sound IMO.

The other aspects such as branding, marketing, image etc have not been as sound.
