  1. Agreed Sir. The level of speculation over the whys and wherefores has gone off the scale. One thing it may be safe to say is that McInnes has bottled the biggest appointment of his career just like his team bottled their two " big" games against Rangers over the preceding week. The Club will survive and appoint another candidate. One who in all likelihood is better tactically and coaching wise than McInnes and wont entail us paying circa £1m to underwrite the ailing finances of a little team who detest our Club. By declining even the opportunity to meet with our Board to discuss the position on offer McInnes has confirmed, to me at least, that he has neither the Gravitas nor the stature, as a person to fill the managerial post at Rangers.
  2. Are they ever ? Being a technological luddite I cant post any screen grabs but " games corrupt ", " never investing another penny in Scottish Football " and my personal favourite so far " Ranjurs cheated, LNS was a sham , The SFA / SPFL created the sham and don't want it examined"
  3. SPFL statement whilst finally removing the "strip the titles " threat has done little to calm the obsessed and irrational haters ! Indeed their albeit limited sanity appears to have been stretched beyond breaking point this morning. Anyone seeking some amusement on a dreich day such as this should simply have a look at twitter etc , the collective meltdown and insane ravings thereon are hilarious !
  4. I'll see your "indifference or incompetence" and raise you "deliberate obstructiveness" - the performance of the Fiscals Office and the appointments of those charged with prosecuting the case has plumbed such depths , that those of a cynical nature, are able to point the finger at various senior legal officers adopting such an attitude to the pursuit of the case against these individuals.
  5. The Celtic friendly mhedia will be whipping themselves ( an accepted religious ritual ? ) into a frenzy of deny and deflect articles over the coming days, weeks, perhaps even months as potentially more victims come forward. Having only watched a run through of Dalys documentary it certainly reeked of "what aboutery" an argument generally derided and dismissed, particularly by his paymasters at BBC Pacific Quay on their Sportsound offering!
  6. Given his level of performance this season, McKay appears to have already made up his mind , he no longer wishes further his game in a Rangers jersey. Notwithstanding the veracity or accuracy of this article, it may be that McKays agent has used his contacts to openly advertise his clients intentions. As has been mentioned by others, were we to get a decent 7 figure sum for him, then I would favour its acceptance and the moneys invested in players who would turn in more consistent performances for the team. There is no doubt McKay has talent and the potential to be a "match winner", unfortunately such performances have been very few and far between this season.
  7. The SFA select, their accompanying blazers and the national puppet, manager, being too kind a description , deserve everything they get as the oversee the continuing decline in Scottish football. Their entire "raison d'etre" appears now, to be, not to improve the game in this country overall, but to manage it only for the benefit of one Club. Which Clubs support in the main do not and historically never have followed the national team in any great numbers. Whereas what was historically the natural support of the Scotland team, that of RFC, has virtually been alienated by the powers that be and the bile emanating from large sections of the national teams current fan base towards RFC. Hell mend them I say!
  8. I agree that much of the criteria for this position appears to be an enigma wrapped up in a riddle etc etc , but for what it's worth I would consider the appointment of Barry Ferguson as a potentially troublesome appointment, he has previous for undermining an in situ manager . I'm not sure whilst we, as a club, are looking at stability and progress on and off the field such an appointment would help, especially ,if as alleged , BF is simply a placeman for individuals on the Board.
  9. Good luck with that, most probably it has already been deleted from the R.C. Compliance officers inbox - as per standing orders from SFA / Celtic Peter!
  10. One assumes BTP and Stasi Scotland will pursue this with the same vigour and sense of purpose as they have done in past recent attacks on Rangers supporters!
  11. Is that not what spokespersons for NBM talk out of?
  12. Completed the survey, many of the questions appear, unsurprisingly, to be slanted towards their own agenda. A point which I made in the comments section in my best A level English !!!
  13. If fit, Hodson should start at R.B. and push Tavernier forward to replace O'Halloran. We should be aiming to take the game to them with pace, allegedly Hughes is their only fit centre back available for tonight, but I'll take that with a pinch of salt. We simply cannot allow them to set the tone of the game and must dictate the match from the off . They brittle at the moment and we should be looking to hurt them badly!
  14. Twitter, I know, I know, saying less than 100 single seats left in the Broomloan Rear. Amazing effort from the support once again!
  15. Even then, given the extremely cosy , potentially incestuous relationship, between that rhag and the Scumtic management, you would simply have wasted a large number of chimps! The rhebel, its editorial staff and reporters, both newsroom sic. Jane Hamilton and sportsdesk have sucked at the teat of Lawell for too long to change. They are all Lawells bitches and the sooner this rhag goes to the wall the better.
