  1. Past hour
  2. Can't see the new directors going for a 38 year old. Probably need a number 9 though.
  3. But we can offset it to give us a better chance of domestic success this season and European qualification next. History, both recent and bot so recent has shown us that NO Scottish team can have prolonged domestic combined with prolonged European success, yet we except it now....
  4. Probably be ironic after me moaning about a 32yr old. We sign a 38yr old and he comes and bangs them in. But I find this move unlikely. Anyone else?
  5. I was assuming that he's off right now ... so his value of 20-25m will not depend on him signing an option right now.
  6. Some random twitter link ... ... while Souttar seemingly had a hernia OP so is out for 4 to 6 weeks.
  7. I don't think you are, but you are also suggesting we forego (forgo?) Europe altogether, which is quite another thing. I agree with the premise, but I don't agree with your conclusions.
  8. Yes, we do. His value reduces significantly if there's only a year left, plus there's then the danger that he could let it run down and leave for free. Now is the optimal time to sell.
  9. Nice to see the old blusters back with the insults. Away and have a wee think about what I posted brain of Britian.
  10. as getting further / deeper into European compitions has been proven to lessen our chances of domestic success. I can't be the only Rangers fan who thinks domestic success is more important than European involvement?
  11. Why would we have to throw games?
  12. Yip, but with 1 title and 2 cups to show for it - some achievement right enough.
  13. So are we gonna throw our EL games to ensure we don't qualify?
  14. Which has been the norm since Stevie G arrived. Good achievement by the club.
  15. Would it? £18M for EL run. £17M for Igamane and £25M for Raskin dwarfs what we'd make in EL, even if we were to win it. So even if we "banked" the Igamane money and spent the Ranskin money we'd be no worse off and we'd possibly be Champions which makes it easier to get to CL next season. Yeah, idiotic right enough.
  16. I would like to watch us smash the Greeks while eating a plate of delicious Gyros and sipping on a cold bottle of Mythos, but if we loose Raskin, Hamza & Dessers and don't replace them with better, and add some decent defenders I may end up hiding behing the couch.
  17. He's got a contract till 2027, so no need for anything right now.
  18. I think it's a moot point, anyway. I don't think European 'success' needs to entail an extended run deep into the competition. Merely reaching the group stage of the EL would be deemed 'successful', which shouldn't require us to shift focus from the league. @CammyF
  19. Semantics - we need domestic success 1st then Europe will follow on.
  20. That would be the plan of a self harming idiot.
  21. Today
  22. Once in 14 years kinda proves my statement.
  23. City one ahead
  24. Let’s take one step at a time can we beat the Greeks
  25. 2020/2021 disproves your statement. League champions and last 16 of Europa league.
