It would require a test case but as I say there is nothing technically in the rules.

As a matter of fact, I am led to believe that there is nothing in the English FA rules to stop us buying a small English league club, moving it to Ibrox and changing its name to Rangers FC and therefore being eligible to play in their league. You may say I'm a dreamer but I'm not the only one.
