  1. Never understood how so many fans think MacGregor is the best keeper we've ever had. Surely must be the younger supporters because to me he is 4th at best. A long, long way behind Goram and Woods and still a good bit behind Klos.
  2. I think there's definitely a player in Lammers, some nice touches and only a great save to stop him scoring. Same with Dessr's, keep hoping he'll come good and adjust his game a bit for the Scottish game.
  3. Souter for me though a few others had good games too. Was close between Souter and Lima, thought his defensive work was excellent and got forward more in the later parts of the 2nd half.
  4. I went for McInnes as you could only choose one. He knows the league and how to set up a team and that's what we need now. Anything in Europe is a bonus. I can't see many 'top' managers being interested with what's going on just now and I couldn't give a toss about him rejecting us before, no-one knows the reasons.
  5. What makes me laugh, well it shouldn't but it does is that everyone was pretty much over the moon when Beale came in and again most were delighted with the amount and quality of the new signings over the summer; that is until the 1st game of the season!
  6. Lammers for me, plenty of the ball and chances made for himself and others.
  7. Went for Davies, thought he had a really good game. Gets such a slagging from most supporters too.
  8. Butland for me, best keeper we've had in a long time. Roofe was close for effort, not a lot of pass marks for he others though. I did think Dessrs was ok despite all the stick and comments he gets.
  9. Yeah they reckn it'll get to the stage it'll be to good for the owners to turn down and Klopp will have no say in the matter.
  10. £100m cash and $50m in add-ons. They close a week after the EPL.
  11. I thought Beale had said 2 out and 1 in before the window closes. Could have been the week before mind you.
  12. I might be the only one, but I don't Davies is that bad a player. No idea about him playing LB though.
  13. Sky Sports Chelsea Article re FFP Also "Chelsea's 12th placed finish last season also means that they do not have to adhere to UEFA regulations as they did not qualify for Europe. Simon Jordan has outlined how that approach under Boehly has helped the Blues to stay within the laws of FFP, albeit with a loophole." I hadn't realised not being in Europe made a difference. IMO it should be enforced for every club regarless of European football or league position.
  14. Are they not getting away with it because of the length of most of these new contract, 7,8 or 9 years and this window in particular are selling a lot of home-grown players which will go down as total 100% profit.
  15. Not just some player though is he, Liverpool and England captain. 33 years old though and Liverpool strengthening in midfield. Reports suggesting he takes the money and sacrifices the Euros next year.
