  1. So. Let me get this right. After a possible season defining 12 games in 37 days which ends at home to Kilmarnock on 2/1/24, we are playing a meaningless friendly 2 weeks later? Why? Had a quick brainstorm with the cat and we came up with these possibilities:- To fleece more money out of the fans after CL & EL games? To ensure players are "match fit" for the 2nd half of the season? (or all injured for the rest of it!) To put "available for sale" players in the shop window? Copenhagen plays a similar style of football to Dumbarton to be tip top shape for Scottish cup match? Kemar Roofe comeback appearance guaranteed? (or your entrance fee refunded) Big Phil's opportunity to showcase our winter transfer newbies from Saudi Pro League (eg Ronaldo, Jota, & Henderson (as new captain resplendent with LGBT armband) Can somebody seriously outline the benefits of this other than another "competitive" (really?) game?
  2. OK. I'll take a bow to your 40 + years experience and leave it there.
  3. if you actually read them properly you will see i care, my eyes are open, i don't wear blue tinted specs, i don't do blind faith, i don't do bullshit or everything is rosy nonsense. I do cold hard honest truths and facts. If it's good i say it is. If it's bad i say it is. Just because my opinion is perceived as negative or I thought he was cleverer and i thought he was more ruthless. He wasn't anywhere near as angry, or proactive or even reactive as i would expect him to be. It really felt like, he didn't get it. It feels like he thinks we can drop points and still win titles. doesn't mean i'm wrong. I'm passionate and i care I thought he was cleverer and i thought he was more ruthless. He wasn't anywhere near as angry, or proactive or even reactive as i would expect him to be. It really felt like, he didn't get it. It feels like he thinks we can drop points and still win titles. Well, I respect your passion. What I cannot reconcile is what particular insight you have on Clement's anger, reactive or protectiveness. He has been in post barely 6 weeks. He has reiterated his desire between, now and January window, to evaluate the current squad. He has stressed the fact there would be bumps in the road through this period. I think he won all the games in tenure with the exception of 2 drawn matches. He has inherited a beleaguered squad of players with a horrendous injury record. The points margin to Celtic remains roughly the same. We are now at the end of November. How makes you think "he doesn't get it"? What makes you believe he isn't clever? Or ruthless? I don't recall him making any pronouncements about winning the title this season. That ship may have already sailed but I cannot understand how that falls to the failing of this manager? I repeat, I respect your passion, but my feeling is it is boiling over into one long tedious rant. Nae offence!
  4. Have ye got the Samaritans number? Your posts are so negative and depressing. I'm detecting a real downward spiral in mood. I really think I might need it soon.🙄
  5. Very true. I find it interesting that our main public broadcaster does NOT issue any form of apology to either Sportsound listeners or Sportscene viewers. It is quickly glossed over by the usual "small minority" mutterings. Just as no one ever mentions they are the only club in the UK that never display a poppy on their team shirts at this time of year. A club like no other....indeed!
  6. Gone for Clement. Already regretting it. The “Sack Clement” element on here will be after my blood by Xmas.🙄
  7. I may have some. I will need to do a bit of ferreting in loft / garage to confirm though. If I find any I'll pm you with details.
