  1. Dont want him anymore, needs to be able to get the better of the Japanese is a key requirement.
  2. Mental to think he turned down Wolves and potentially hundreds of millions worth of talent to work in the SPFL but i respect the hustle. Shows he wants it. Lets go.
  3. I remember vividly Maradona (the real GOAT) scoring at USA 94 v Greece i think and celebrating into the camera like a man possessed. My mum said at the time he looks like he is on drugs or something. He was banned after a positive drugs test a few days later.
  4. Should go back to Sporting for the rest of the season and retire.
  5. Wales v Iran 2-1 Qatar v Senegal 0-2 Netherlands v Ecuador 2-1 England v USA 3-0 JOKER Saturday, 26 November Tunisia v Australia 1-1 Poland v Saudi Arabia 1-1 France v Denmark 2-2 Argentina v Mexico 2-0 Sunday, 27 November Japan v Costa Rica 1-1 Belgium v Morocco 2-1 Croatia v Canada 3-0 Spain v Germany 1-1 Monday, 28 November Cameroon v Serbia 1-1 South Korea v Ghana 2-1 Brazil v Switzerland 3-0 Portugal v Uruguay 0-1
  6. File under she's turned the weans against us rubbish. Unless you want to tell us the full story of Gerrard being forced out.
  7. Right, whats the deal with the injury time.
  8. What, when, where etc - can you share the details? FWIW I think it will be Beale.
  9. Same line of thinking as me. Not sure why they didn't offer it to him then. Was an ideal opportunity. I still think he would do well if he comes in mind.
  10. I've seen this take a few times. IMO its correct. I think if we dont go for him now he will soon be out of our reach. But thats where we are. We need someone on the up and will be lucky to get an established 'big' name.
  11. Listened to the BBC podcast with him on it last night. Talks a lot of sense and knows whats needed. That's not me backing him for the job just think he has a good grasp on things. Its worth a listen for anyone (despite being BBC) He also seems to get a lot of grief from our support at times which i cant understand at all. Always speaks well about us and clearly knows the club well.
  12. Really like the look of the #11 for Denmark.. 👀
  13. Sorry I seen it plenty. Moving the ball from side to side then getting bored and having one of the fullbacks cross it in to Morelos against 6 defenders.
  14. run it through your computer simulation like these guys
  15. He just comes across as a bit clueless to be honest mate, maybe I'm being harsh. Not sure what he done, what value he added. Seen a couple of interviews with him and he's dull as dishwater.
  16. victim of own success dafuq
  17. Probably still getting paid 100k + p/w from Leverkusen but yeah dream away. He would be a good shout tbh. Him or Bhaktar for me. I think it might be Beale though. No coincidence he was up visiting recently..
  18. It was a good listen, Thomson talked some real sense.
  19. I'm not overly bought into the thought of a tactical guru or an over thinker. I think a good man manager, motivator and someone who can work with whatever is at hand. Pretty much Walter Smith, Carlo Ancelotti or Hansi Flick. Someone that can own a dressing room and get the best from a squad no matter what. That's why my vote goes to Dick Campbell. In all seriousness outside of an 'old school' like one of the above I'm not sure that exists in the younger generation of managers.
  20. Wouldn’t want Beale. Many of the problems the team have now were present while he was an influential coach here. Resorting to constant crosses, possession based football for the sake of it (horseshoe) struggling to break teams down etc
  21. Would take either of those but would prefer barak obakthar
