I think you could have wrote this post 8 months ago and it’s as true then as it is now. The board won’t act though.

Cost slightly more than Kent. Also Anguissa, raspadorri and ndombele. 3 brilliant players are on loan. they have done well in the transfer market. -

So what, people fall out all the time, big egos etc etc -
Good read from Stevie at four lads. https://fourladshadadream.blog/2022/10/23/van-bronckhorsts-football-has-lost-the-support-but-ross-wilsons-position-must-be-examined/

https://t.co/lfysadjx1l Rangers are a mess and Ross Wilson is at the centre of it. The relationship with the fans is at an all-time low. By Jason Soutter of b365

Not sure if this has been mentioned but the manager was asked about Robbie McCrories new contract and would he be giving him game time as a result. He said along the lines of no it was a football operations decision to renew. He was asked last week about rumours of a Ryan Jack extension he said he was not aware of any extension talks with any of the squad right now. take from that what you will but seems like a disconnect to me. I still believe something has occurred post PSV and he is working his ticket.

If many supporters expect a new manager to come in and do better than Gio with no additional funds or backing. Is it unreasonable to ask the board or dof to do the same? -
Part of Ross Wilson’s remit is continuity. That includes playing style between managers so that any inheritance in terms of playing squad should be as seamless as possible (in theory). what seems to have happened here is the same issues Gerrard had (the horsehoe, slow tempo, isolated front man) have persisted.

‘They put their money in’ is what people will say. That they did. I will forever be thankful that they did. However since then it’s clear the usual falling out and egos have got in the way and it’s been to the detriment of our club. Does that mean they are above criticism? Looks like it. Do you or I have the means to buy them out? Probably not. So that usually results in a ‘get back in your box’. -
We already knew. Many in the support were flabbergasted by that appointment. He did a good PowerPoint we were told. It’s not us who had to learn. It was whichever bus Wanker v2 that thought appointing that fraud was a good idea. Many may disagree but look at how far back that appointment sent us.

Yes and according to the Board it’s all our fault for being spoiled brats who didn’t want us to play them in the ange homecoming tour. -

There is a bigger issue here than just not being able to organise and motivate a team to beat a pathetic little outfit managed by a ned who used to punt gear for a living. It’s been unfolding for some time and will continue until our board take notice/wake up. Mediocrity is our standard get used to it. in the meantime enjoy edmiston house. -
Miami investor still keen to buy stake in Rangers
Sutton_blows_goats replied to Uilleam's topic in Rangers Chat
You could argue Liverpool got lightning in a bottle with Klopp. Had they not got him they could easily be where spurs/man u are now. chelsea look a total shambles. Arsenal were a shambles for a while but have backed and stuck with Arteta and it looks like coming good -
He’s been honest about why he left. Board didn’t back him in the transfer market. you can argue about finances and malmo and all the rest of it but that’s how him and his team (including Beale) saw it. No way they come back. Bridge burned IMO

2-0 Fulham and Douglas Luiz sent off. Villa really poor in all honesty

Fulham go one up v Villa and have been the much better team.. 👀

Too many things to mention but in summary King and the board at loggerheads Gerrard leaving due to broken promises around transfer funds Directors resigning Paul Murray engaging with investment firms to buy the club over Board members speaking to investment firms then taking them to US courts Losing in US courts to this Fox lady and UK courts to Ashley US investors not going away Board reluctant to invest last January and in the summer especially after CL Woeful communication from club on various points High turnover of recruitment staff again with no real comms from club All in isolation probably not much going on but with so much floating about hard to ignore. After the last 12 years supporting Rangers I'd prefer if we didn't have noise like this and could focus on the pitch, but there is always something around the corner. -
Wasn't promised he would be. Seen an interview with him earlier talking about staying and he was banging on about realism and transparency, how the budget wasn't great but they set expectations etc
-
My understanding is they left because they didn't receive funding they expected to get to strengthen after 55. Who set this expectation i don't know. If this is the case I cant see him being interested while this current board is still in place.
