It's 'Comment' from the editor of some Aberdeen fanzine or another. Still, to drag up stuff about Hateley and McCoist etc and include such a vicious personal attack on Lafferty shows how much this scumbag is hurting.

It appears Dolly is finding it increasingly hard to deal with 18 years without a victory at Ibrox... Aberdeen unfazed by injustice No glorious swansong for retiring referee dougal Published: 18/05/2009 STUART Dougal came back for this? Having missed almost all of his final season injured, picking up his whistle for the last month of his career only to referee matches in this fashion is like restoring an old banger just to crash it into next door’s garage. Dougal was branded arrogant by Craig Levein and Lee Wilkie during the week and his decision to dismiss Charlie Mulgrew was self-important in the extreme. The assistant referee was right next to the action and made it as clear as anyone physically could that there was nothing in it, but the referee had the red card out of his pocket even before Kyle Lafferty’s mullet hit the turf. But he would not have had the opportunity to err so grossly had the Rangers man not done what he did. So unequivocal are the pictures, showing it was in fact he who moved his head into Mulgrew’s in order to fabricate some contact from which he could drop, that if he had a scruple in his body then he would today have more egg on his face than team-mate Kirk Broadfoot. Instead he clearly thought himself big and clever. But though he shares a taste in celebratory gestures with Cristiano Ronaldo he has scarcely 1% of his talent. The only good thing he has brought to Scottish football is a hole in Rangers’ bank balance. The actions of the Irish winger put people off the game just as much as those of the Portuguese one turn them on to it. Admirably the injustice did not faze a remarkably calm Aberdeen and they were equal adversaries even before the numbers were squared. Madjid Bougherra can consider himself unlucky, but only insofar as he, unlike Hateley, McCoist, Wallace and Miller before him, chose a game in which the linesman had seen enough of the Dons being wronged when he kicked Aberdeen’s goal- keeper in the face. No wonder Jamie Langfield was thought to be keen on that proposed move to Ibrox, in the interests of self-preservation. http://www.pressandjournal.co.uk/Article.aspx/1220068 The Evening Express text-in also gives vent to Dolly permarage. Some examples: "Please Celtic, do us all a favour and don't let Rangers win the SPL", "Rangers were scared of Dons, hence the cheating tactics" Bwahahahahahaha, get it round and up every last one of you hurting scumbags

Funny you should mention Dundee Utd at home. When Le Guen left and Walter and Ally came in and we cuffed them 5-0 in the first game, I thought we were in for goals galore and attacking football every week....

One of the best footballing performances I've seen from Rangers in recent years was Le Guen's first league match at Fir Park. Suffice to say things had gone a tad pear shaped by the time we next visited that ground in his last game. We had some real clinical performances in Europe as well under Le Guen. I'm not going anywhere with this, we were horseshit under Le Guen - it's just I was reminded of that first game at Fir Park when I was convinced we were on the cusp of something great. See where optimism gets you?

Fixed that for you. -
With those appointments, the SFA have all but admitted they have controversial officials. Because none of them feature on Sunday.

Whoa, whoa, whoa. Let's step back from the self-flagellation and look at this. Apparently Lafferty is to be disciplined according to Article 10© of UEFA's Disciplinary Regulations, which recommends:- "suspension for two competition matches or for a specified period for acting with the obvious intent to cause any match official to make an incorrect decision or supporting his error of judgement and thereby causing him to make an incorrect decision" Do Nakamura and McDonald not do this in every game they play? According to today's press, SFA chief Gordon Smith wants to stamp simulation out of the game. Does he? Does he really? Or does he in fact need to be seen to be taking action against Rangers Football Club? Whatever the rights and wrongs of Lafferty's actions - and he was wrong - is irrelevant. I'm not asking for him not to be punished, all we've ever wanted is a level playing field. Richard "My kids were brought up to hate Rangers" Gordon by all accounts lost his composure on Radio Scotland on Saturday and has set the tone for a Mikoliunas-style campaign of hate. Fine, but why the constant silence over the blatant cheating of Nakamura and McDonald? One rule for us... Level playing field guys, that's all we ask.

Nail on head. And no amount of "Aye but, more points, higher position, blah, blah" can get away from that. We're not a Dundee United or an Aberdeen whereby reaching a certain position in the league is deemed a successful season. We're The Famous Glasgow Rangers and it's title or nothing. Walter's had the same success as Le Guen had in the league - none. Put that to bed on Sunday Walter and I'll be a happy man.

Given the choice - win ugly, no question. This question is often put to me by the Smithites in response to my criticism of Walter. Which I have always found strange given the fact he has yet to win an SPL title since returning, playing ugly or not.

Oops. Was always a fan of Jukebox as well. That's what you get for not scoring against the chimps I guess.

The perfect season would be for us to win the league and Paisley Celtic to go down on goal difference. Looks unlikely after Saturday's win over Falkirk though. Pity. Horrible club.

Rangers 83 +46 C****c 81 +47 ...does have a slightly different feel to it than if one of the mopes' chances had gone in today... C****c 83 +48 Rangers 83 +46 That bottom table would have been game over. The chimps will be feeling the same frustration as we felt on Wednesday night/Thursday morning. Which is nice.

My favourite one from the chimps is "HANDBALL!" every 10 seconds if they're not winning.

I didn't see the game - apparently McDonald's diving was atrocious the entire game with the Diving Jap not far behind.
