Have you been on the moon for the last few months or are just at it? The vote was 64 - 63 all SNP MSP’s voted against repeal. Not saying I agree or otherwise, just pointing out the facts. You should not let your hatred of people blind you to the facts, wishing something to be true does not make it true.

I know, just my sense of humour. Think it’s weird taking photos, publicising them online but blurring out faces. Why put them on the Internet? Seems that all these groups UB, GB, ICF & RFR have something in common. They all think their important.

UB v Inter City Firm football match photos. Think you’re a bit mixed up and giving to much credence to a group who can muster no more than 20 young guys at most. They did not run screaming to the SNP to have the OBAF repealed, rightly or wrongly the SNP fought to retain the law. It was the Labour Party who were the main force of getting the law repealed, namely “I will not sit down” James Kelly MSP. https://stv.tv/news/politics/1410611-scottish-labour-call-for-1m-to-tackle-sectarianism/?utm_source=dlvr.it&utm_medium=twitter Scottish Labour call for £1m to tackle sectarianism STV17 hours ago A controversial law aimed at tackling sectarianism in football was scrapped last week. James Kelly: called on the Scottish Government to announce the new funding of at least £1m. PA Labour has launched a campaign calling for increased funding for projects to tackle sectarianism across Scotland.

I remember watching a documentary about the Irish in USA. It was shown that Orange Lodges marched in the St Patrick’s Day parades in the past. Over the years its been turned into mostly a RC Irish day and on occasion SF political which I witnessed myself in New York.

Not many of the ultras still there at full time today.

And posted missing again today, not good enough for me either.

Aye very good. Adams & McGuinness were terrorists and no mistake, SF supported IRA. One thing I agree with the DUP on it’s SF/IRA. Anyone who voted SF supported the IRA.

You’re correct it is getting boring. When some try to align the SNP with Sinn Fein it just shows the depths they will plummet to smear and the utter bankruptcy of their argument. When some say that there is a connection with any main stream political party and a terrorist organisation you know they are not right minded people. I await the photo parade.

We laugh at the obsession and paranoia of the Tim’s. Yet we have posters on here who think you cannot be a real Rangers fan or not as good a fan as them because you vote SNP and/or support Independence. Those with that bigoted and stupid belief are a small minority in the Rangers suppprt. I don’t know of one Bear who would come out with that nonsense, my Rangers pals support various parties.

The SFA's decision to bring Scottish Professional Football League chief executive Neil Doncaster onto its board is a "shocking appointment", believes ex-St Mirren chairman Stewart Gilmour. Doncaster has replaced Partick Thistle managing director Ian Maxwell, who is favourite to succeed Stewart Regan as the Scottish FA's new chief executive. Gilmour believes the move is the result of a "political fight" at the SFA. "I think it is a shocking appointment," he told BBC Scotland's Sportsound. "I think it shows a real lack of leadership in this day and age when we are supposed to be having new visions and new ways forward. "Neil's integrity with supporters is so low, it is unbelievable. I just can't believe the SFA board members would appoint Neil to come onto their board. I take it he has been co-opted on at this time of year, as no-one else has voted for this. "I think it is a dreadful appointment. I don't think it shows any way forward for Scottish football, any new broom. We keep getting told things are going to change. I really do think it is a poor appointment." Applications for the vacant SFA chief executive post closed last Friday, with Adrian Bevington, the former English FA Club England Managing Director among those understood to have applied. But Gilmour believes board members have already decided to appoint Maxwell, a former professional with Queen's Park, Ross County, St Johnstone, St Mirren and Partick Thistle, who is now Thistle's managing director."We are searching for a good chief executive; we really do need one," he said. "But it would appear to all the world that Ian Maxwell is a shoo-in. "I am not against Ian, I know him very well. I had him as a player [at St Mirren], I have seen what he has done at Thistle."But is this right? Have we got an HR company looking for the best people? Are we going to get the best people?"I know someone who was interested in the post and he was approached by a company. They said to him, 'Your man [Maxwell] is a shoo-in'. "That assures me that we are not going to get the best four or five candidates. Not a chance." 'It looks like 'you scratch my back, and I'll scratch yours' Maxwell has applied to be Regan's successor and was believed to have asked to be relieved of his responsibilities as a board member to avoid a conflict of interests. Doncaster, who has been chief executive since 2009 of first the Scottish Premier League, and then the SPFL when it replaced the SPL and Scottish Football League organisations in 2013, was "elected unopposed" at the SFA's Professional Game Board meeting on Tuesday. Former Scotland assistant coach Peter Houston also believes bringing Doncaster on board casts doubt on the governing body's appointment processes. "There is a lot of politics within the SFA; It has been going on for years and years," Houston told Sportsound. "If there was ever a chance for re-form and getting things moving forward, with no chief executive there was an opportunity to strip it all back and have a look to see if there was a better way forward," he said. "Neil is a thoroughly fine guy; I've had several one-to-one conversations with him. But with him being appointed, it looks as if it is a case of 'you scratch my back, and I'll scratch yours'."

https://stv.tv/sport/football/1410322-alastair-johnston-yet-to-be-passed-fit-and-proper-by-sfa/ Rangers director Alastair Johnston has been serving as a member of the club's board for nine months but has yet to be approved as a "fit and proper person" by the Scottish FA. The businessman returned to Ibrox last year to take a seat on the board and was present at the club's AGM in November. However, the position has not yet been rubber-stamped by the authorities at Hampden, with an investigation into the UEFA licensing process holding up a decision. Companies House documents show Johnston was appointed as a director on June 12, 2017 and a document from November last year states he holds a position that "has the right to exercise, or actually exercises, significant influence or control over the company". Johnston's past as a member of the Rangers oldco board has led to his application being put on hold by the governing body, pending the outcome of an investigation into the Scottish FA's handling of Rangers' UEFA licence application in 2011. The US-based Scot was appointed as chairman of Rangers on August 29, 2009 and was removed from his position on May 24, 2011, following Craig Whyte's takeover. He had already criticised Whyte and said he would stand down at the end of the season. Johnston was chairman when the club applied to participate in UEFA competition that year but there are questions surrounding Rangers' tax obligations at that time and what was declared on their licence application. UEFA rules state clubs applying to play in Europe should have "no payables overdue" to tax authorities, but do allow applications to progress if amounts are in dispute. Rangers said at the time of their application in 2011 they had no overdue payables but that they were in dispute with HMRC over their liability from a Discounted Option Scheme, known as "the Wee Tax Case", which was in use from 2000 to 2002. However, in court testimony given during the Craig Whyte trial, Rangers and Murray Group directors stated the club knew the tax bill was overdue in November 2010, months before their UEFA licence application. Following the court case, the Scottish FA took legal advice from a QC before referring the matter to their compliance officer to investigate whether the governing body had acted correctly when processing the licence application. Former Scottish FA chief executive Stewart Regan noted in a letter to clubs, informing them of the investigation: "There seem to be contradictions between those [court] statements and written representations made by oldco at the time of the licence application and during the monitoring period". Johnston is the third person to join the Rangers board who had been a director at Ibrox before the financial collapse at Ibrox in 2012. Paul Murray was a director from 2007 until May 2011, leaving the club after Craig Whyte's takeover was complete. His status as a "fit and proper" person was approved by the Scottish FA ' Professional Game Board". Rangers chairman Dave King became a non-executive director of the oldco in 2000 after becoming an investor in the club but ended his association in 2012. Following the takeover of the newco in 2015, King became chairman of the club after being approved by the full board of the Scottish FA, who said that the decision had been made after "unprecedented" due diligence and after it "sought and received specialist independent legal advice, both in Scotland and South Africa, in respect of Mr King's conviction further to the South African Income Tax Act and in relation to his previous involvement as a director of the club."

I’ve been following Rangers for the last 60 years and don’t need told by the Vangaurd Bears or any of the other right wing racist bigots that I’m not a real Rangers fan. I believe in Scottish Independence and will vote for it next time, I’m not a member of the SNP. The VB are just another self appointed group who believe they know better than the rest of us. They have a history of acting against fellow Rangers fans, I disregard most of what they say.

Neil Doncaster: SPFL chief joins SFA board as Ian Maxwell steps down Scottish Professional Football League chief executive Neil Doncaster has joined the board of the Scottish FA. He replaces Partick Thistle managing director Ian Maxwell on the board. The SFA is in the process of recruiting a new chief executive following Stewart Regan's departure in early February. Former Norwich City chief executive Doncaster says he is looking "forward to Scotland's two main footballing bodies working together". "I am very grateful for the support of the Scottish FA board," he said. Regan, who has been replaced on an interim basis with Andrew McKinlay, left the SFA while the Scotland manager's position was vacant and Alex McLeish was appointed as Gordon Strachan's replacement later in February, McLeish taking on the manager's job for a second spell. Maxwell has applied to be Regan's successor and is favourite to become the SFA's new chief executive. Doncaster - one of eight SFA board members - became Scottish Premier League chief executive in 2009 and took on the same role with the SPFL after the latter body replaced the SPL and Scottish Football League organisations in 2013.Maxwell and Alloa Athletic chairman Mike Mulraney had been the two SFA board members elected by the separate Professional Game Board organisation, with Doncaster "elected unopposed" as Maxwell's replacement at Tuesday's PGB meeting.SFA president Alan McRae commented: "I would like to thank Ian Maxwell for his valuable contributions to the work of our board."In particular, the part played by him during the recruitment of our national team manager. "I am pleased to welcome Neil Doncaster on to our board to replace Ian. "Neil's experience in the game should be of great benefit to the Scottish FA and I look forward to working with him and the other directors to drive the game in this country forward."

That's the very point that Darther is trying to make. We say we're better than them, have higher standards as fans and club and then the UB step in to prove us all wrong.
