The Man City fans Frankie has spoken to hits the nail on the head - he wouldn't play the lone striker role effectively. WS likes to play 1 man up front therefore he should be chasing someone who can play that role effectively.

So the bid is �£10M? If he could sign the contract this window but not move until the summer then that would be a great bit of business for us.

Thing is though he can't string 3 games together. Until he can we'll never see the best of him.

I think I'd prefer Larsen before Samaras. He did very little in the EPL for Man City. He did do well in Holland though so he has the ability to do well. As Frankie said �£2.75m is a lot of money who hasn't really done much for a season.
