  1. Report on tonight's Glasgow Cup game https://rfcyouths.wordpress.com/2015/09/17/glasgow-cup-win-at-lennoxtown/
  2. Round up of this weekend's games against Thistle https://rfcyouths.wordpress.com/2015/09/13/rangers-v-thistle-youth-round-up/
  3. The figure I heard was nowhere near 50k, which considering his age does seem highly unlikely, he is centre back from last season's U12's (He is U13's this season). They have also signed an u15 centre-back that Rangers released (I was a bit surprised we let him go ). They have released a player they took from us for a development fee a few years ago, he is now U18 and is back at Rangers on trial.
  4. Report on today's 15's & 17's games https://rfcyouths.wordpress.com/2015/09/06/youths-double-header-against-hibs/
  5. I have seen a lot of Luca and I think he is a decent player, but Dominic Ball is 5 months younger and looks to be on a different level.

  7. My report on tonight's game https://rfcyouths.wordpress.com/2015/09/01/20s-share-spoils-with-well/
  8. Not so sure about first team material but Premyslaw Dachowicz is cetainly the most improved player. He was involved in most of the significant attacks until he moved to right back when Jordan Houston got injured. He came late to pro youth having joined from the Jimmy Johnstone Academy just over a year ago, he has proved since he is there on merit alongside players who have been in the system since the age of 8 or 9. 15's are an excellent footballing side but right through the squad ther aren't big physically so may get bullied on occasions, therefore a bit of patience is required to allow them to develop. The players you mention are some who will play in the U16's fixtures planned for this season, Matthew Shiels is actually a U16 although he is at the younger end of the age group.
  9. Sinky did such a great job at Rangers when he left the only way for him would be up...................so he is now at Queen's Park!!! He signed none of the players he claims credit for in the article. Anyone he has watched the youth teams in recent years can see massive improvements in style, attitude and general feel good factor among players and parents since he left.

  14. To be fair they changed to a more passing style when Craig Mulholland took over as head of youth. There has been further changes since Warburton came in with the style and formation now mirroring the first team. It won't happen overnight, these kids have been "coached" to play an entirely different style for years.

  24. To be fair they have started with pretty extensive coverage of the Under 20's so far this season. They tend to get bored as the season goes on and the reports get less and less, they usually don't report bad news and ignore any defeats. Ultimately they end up copying my reports and editing them a wee bit.
