  1. Looks like we are going to have another full house in picking Raskin, he has created more assists/goals since Barry has came into the team, I believe he has had 6 assists?
  2. Also fascinating to hear that not all season tickets have been purchased as well, let’s hope this new investment can reignite something back into the club. I can’t remember last seasons last few games but I’m guessing they weren’t looking as empty as today’s game.
  3. Seasons over, I suppose fans would rather see out the nice weather, as there is more chance of them winning a sun burn than us winning anything this season.
  4. 🤣 may as well try to use the wife’s ones
  5. lol I call them that 🤣 they are essentially jeans/tights. I personally wouldn’t be seen dead in them but seen a few Robin hoods in Glasgow last week with the classic boat shoes.
  6. I think the term is called Bloke core 😂 It has become a men’s fashion trend apparently when at games as well as also those ridiculous boat shoes and Robin Hood jean's. Here was me thinking it was a nod to past times/ players who graced our pitch bringing us trophies etc. Bloke Core: The "bloke core" trend is a fashion aesthetic that blends everyday casual wear with a distinct football (soccer) inspired style. It essentially involves taking traditionally masculine, unpretentious clothing often associated with British "blokes" (an informal term for men) and incorporating football jerseys, classic sneakers, and comfortable sportswear into everyday outfits. Key Characteristics: * Football Jerseys: These are central to the look, often vintage or retro shirts, but can also be current season jerseys. The focus is often on UK club teams. * Casual Bottoms: Jeans (often straight-leg or slightly distressed), chinos, track pants, or shorts are common pairings. * Classic Sneakers: Iconic trainers from brands like Adidas (Sambas, Gazelles, Spezial), Nike, Converse, or Puma are frequently worn. * Comfort and Functionality: The emphasis is on comfortable, practical clothing rather than high fashion or overly stylized looks. * Nostalgia: There's often a nostalgic element, referencing the football culture of the late 20th century. * "Effortlessly Cool" Vibe: The aim is to look stylish without appearing to have tried too hard. * Optional Accessories: Baseball caps, scarves (especially team-related), and even retro track jackets can be incorporated. Origins and History: * Believed to have originated as a playful observation by American TikToker Brandon Huntley in late 2021/early 2022. * Draws influence from the British "casual" subculture of the late 1970s and 1980s. * Gained significant traction on social media platforms like TikTok and Instagram. In essence, bloke core is a revival and reinterpretation of classic football fan style for a contemporary audience, emphasizing comfort, nostalgia, and a seemingly effortless sense of cool.
  7. I think Raskin would rather stay for another few sessions giving what Rangers could potentially offer him in terms of game time and European football, plus he would certainly be in contention for the captaincy if James Taviner decides to leave, sure there are interests who would pay a premium price but can we afford to let him go and find a replacement for him, I don’t think we could regardless of the investment we have coming in, as the Belgium head coach said Raskin is equally as good if not better than Tellimans or the other one at Chelsea. Keep him at all costs in my opinion.
  8. I seen a few retro’s today also, I didn’t see the blown up sheep yet I heard a few Baaaaaaa’s . Plus I seen the knob in the red Aberdeen bucket hat adopting the red billy Connelly beard 🤣 I also noticed the fans being less enthusiastic in which the players certainly felt. To little to late let’s hope next season is better that this dismal season.
  9. You’re quite right about the patience side of things 🤣 time will tell I suppose , yet what other options do we have apart from being patient, purely based on the way Leeds is being run as a club, I can only hope they will copy and paste this into our future as a club going forward.
  10. They'll be pushing us hard for a top-three finish, likely hoping to beat us today and then Dundee in their next match. On our side, a sloppy performance today could give them the edge, even if we manage to beat Hibs the following week. Knowing they play Dundee in their final game of the season, the sheep will undoubtedly be up for this one. Ultimately, both teams are battling for that third spot, while we're at least playing for our pride. Who wants it more let’s see!
  11. Can anyone copy me a link to part two ? Be much appreciated 👍 cancel last, managed to find it.
  12. https://apple.news/AZsDwT-JGTt6XOXy7lBghcA Article about Paul Dalglish talking about the investment Rangers are about to receive from the 49ers, he spent 12 years over there and has said previously that the majority of investors in America don’t just look for a quick Buck but look into long term success be it fans entertainment or building the foundations through the ranks to form a successful platform from youth level up.
  13. Has anyone mentioned Tedesco? He also has links with Redbull, Also known as the Laptop manager for his use during games rather than the notepad and pen method.
  14. To this day, the Army still hasn’t fully grasped the mental health aspect, so I can only imagine the challenges your father and your family faced. It's a stark reality that has led to the creation of independent veteran-run organizations. These groups often emerge from a feeling that established organizations haven't provided adequate or appropriate support. In my own area, I took the initiative to set up a self-funded veterans' group. Unfortunately, larger organizations were unwilling to step in, often citing insufficient numbers. We currently have 15 members and warmly welcome any veteran who'd like to join us, even if it's just for a day trip to enjoy the beautiful scenery. I've also been able to assist other veterans in obtaining their Veteran Badges. It's surprising how many believe they didn't serve long enough or weren't entitled to one. These seemingly small hurdles can prevent veterans from seeking the broader support they need. It's often the most dedicated veterans who step up to create vital resources like the Erskine Hospital. However, it's also true that some individuals may misuse their veteran status, seeking personal recognition within their local area while losing sight of the larger, collective needs of the veteran community. Ultimately, we are all in this together.
  15. I was listening to Radio one few weeks back and supposedly it’s a thing people like to do. Not me may I add for the record, smelling my feet is the furthest I’ve been 🤣
  16. Fulham manager Marco Silva is supposedly set to leave at the end of the season, just saying. Also another German coach along with Rose could be Joachim Low who is credited for modernising possession and attacking play football in Germany , whilst also taking the national team to the final with a young squad.
  17. And we also wanted to acknowledge Hall of fame Graeme sounesses on his birthday ( 6th may ) 😜
  18. 110% they should be doing it Rab, I seen a article in which that team I dare not say through fear of 🤮 said they interacted with there fans, supposedly they stopped one at a Hibs game going through, so clearly they are in contact or see what Tifo’s are being displayed, especially after they stopped one going out, which means to me they knew about the ones targeted at us and yet again nothing was done, talk about double standards. Rules need to be set out and if any club can’t explain the reasoning behind it then they can’t go ahead, our recent one has definitely divided opinions to say the least, yet I see the Star Wars connection definitely and also the Graeme souness one also as his Birthday is on the 6th May. Now surely the Board if they knew it was his birthday and it was also the 4th of may they could of defended the decisions from the start, Dialogue is key and clearly we are lacking that aspect in many cases. Yet they decided to through the UB’S under the bus rather than approaching them prior to the game to establish what Tifos were going out at the old firm match.
  19. Clip I found if no one has already seen it , SPL asking Rangers to explain why the banner wasn’t seen before hand, as I said in a previous post, surely there has to be a person in charge to oversee these things , looks to me like others have mentioned they are just looking to either ban Tifos all together or take control of what is shown. Right or wrong it should have been done from the very start. https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/articles/cd62y9w1v62o
  20. Some of there Tifo displays have certainly crossed the line in which is genuinely offensive to deliberately provoke and mean to antagonise rivals, us especially! Yet they seem to be brushed under the carpet and when we have a questionable display it’s National News or jumped on swiftly or condemned by our own board. We need to call it out via a display that the National news will see and the Sharks at SPL etc will need to act. Sure at times our displays are questionable but it’s only a reaction to what other teams have displayed. As for the board they need to have a direct link with the UB Tifo team to establish a drief description of the displays they will be having, if they cross the line then UB will have to be accountable for it, The fact they have openly said they discussed it at half time shows there lack of interest in reaching out to the UB’s which doesn’t make sense to me personally.
  21. The response to the email I sent. Thanks for your email. Appreciate your concerns about the possible takeover. As its something thats still in the possibility stakes its not something that is being freely discussed. We do as a group have similar concerns stated and will address them. We hope to discuss them with the people involved and have requested to the club this happens when the time is right. Thanks again, Rangers FAB
  22. Dowell, Gentles, and Harkness stand out as having made particularly strong contributions especially Dowell in a short space of time . Davies and Fraser have no doubt gained valuable experience . Several other young players have gained useful playing time and shown potential yet is it enough to get into our team and replace the old with the new, especially with young Fraser in our new approach or do we just cut ties with the ones who have shown flair like Davies Dowell etc or give them one more chance, or are they just not suited to the Scottish Football game?
  23. War isn't a walk in the park; it stays with you. Yet, there are lines you don't cross, principles you don't surrender. When the enemy comes for what you believe in, for the people you love, care for, and protect, you don't negotiate with the enemy. You meet them head-on. Some things are worth every scar, in our values which are upheld to this very day, our past generation did so in abundance and without fear, as there is a bigger thing to lose in just accepting defeat. That is why we must never accept anything less and fight for tomorrow. Lest We Forget
  24. Do we actually know who is giving up their shares or an inclination through various sources? Obviously, DK is keeping his stake by the looks of it.
