I agree, if the board never considered Cathro it was a dereliction of duty imo, if i was King and the club had the money i would still make him manager of football youth development at Auchenhowie, obviously out with first team responsibilities. -

Sorry to keep banging on Bears, so (no pun intended) bear with me. Can we have Warburton and Weir meet the supporters session when it's announced to the press. With the ticket office working at maximum capacity to sell those season tickets . -

We're all getting excited already and he hasn't even been officially confirmed. Just imagine what can be achieved in ST sales, with the correct adversing strategy with to regards a new beginning under Warburton. Hope the board have got their act together on this, it's going to be mayhem for a few days, time to cash in imo. -
Gazza is up there with James Galway imo, i can remember shouting gawn yirself Gazza, gies Annie's Song.

King will get a lot of season ticket shifted on the back of that letter, you just have to go round the forums. It has generally been well received, but to reach the wider support not on the forums wider exposer is needed. The staunch are rallying to his cause, without details of the product on the field, King's work on this is far from finished and i agree with you Frankie, more meat on the bones and more work to get the prodigal sons backs.

We are the Rangers family, you don't beg from a family member, he's asking us to support the club with our money.

I'm feeling the passion in that, keep it coming and get it out to the wider support.

Of course we need the product on the park, we already have got the inspiration, the emotions and loyalty surrounding the club. But we are not using those assets to their best effect to sell the Season Tickets, so the club can buy the product to put on the park imo -

I'm not feeling the urgency here at all. Say what you want about Green and we all have, but he could sell the product. Now i'm not saying King or the sales department should bullshit or dramatise the situation like Chuckles did, however someone needs to focus the wider support on the fight ahead, it's the Rangers versus those who want us gone. -

I used to go to school with a Jack Gun who had a brother Raymond, any connection? -
Rangers case is not unique in Scottish football nor British football, the club needs punters putting their money in. We don't have the riches of the EPL. So more than ever we need the fans to fall in love with Rangers again and spend it on the club. I know the club has the Gallant Pioneer tours, but they really need to open the doors to Ibrox and let the support through. I recently was invited down to Westminster by a MP friend of the wife's, we had the private tour by his parliamentary secretary. The history of the place, it's tradition was amazing, i came away proud to be British. Have an Season Ticket open days over a weekend, get the support in to the Blue Room, Trophy Room ect. Give it the big sell get the Bears to commit there and then. helpers will give their time free (I would) to take them on a mini tour of Ibrox and get the families and individual supporter connected once again to Rangers.

I think the various fan groups RST, Rangers First, SOS ect have been very quiet of late, which is understandable as they don't want to be seen taking any attention away from King and Murray. However I think the board need these groups to push the season ticket sales. I know very well this is not those groups remit, but the did such a sterling job fighting the old regime. Also encouraging the Bears to buy up shares. They are trusted by many supporters, have the home addresses and e-maIls and should use them on behalf of the club to sell ST's imo. We are all in this fight together, i'm encouraging my young nephews to ask their parents to buy them season tickets, i will probably buy the youngest of my nephews so he can sit by me when i purchase mine at public sale. -
Not exactly a hard hitting recruitment advert though, ok it appeals to my generational link to the club. But i would rather the club make direct appeal to the heart and pocket of the support. We went through a torrid time, we were robbed and given a kicking. money is tight, Why hide the truth? "The club needs your help now" "come back and be part of the fightback" "don't let apathy kill what others could not achieve" "the club that refused to die, be part of it's survival"
