They kept the ball but rarely did anything with it and sat back mainly when we had the ball. We had a good counter attacking side but everybody caught onto that, so we start using the long ball and it didn't really work.

I would like us to dictate games we good passing and movement, obviously 3rd Division pitches and standard won't conform to that but I don't want us to go deeper towards the long ball crap.

Thats what I've said we have about 5 or 6 already, we don't need another one and a veteran at that. Strikers is what we need and its been like that for nearly 18 months.... Plus I thought the 3rd Division would push us towards youngsters from the youth not foreigners over 30, depressing that signing policy imo hasn't changed much.

We've been needing a striker for 18 months still not got one, plus we are linked with Kafes as well another non striker.... Pleased with Shiels though. Beattie and Kyle as strikers don't fill me with confidence at all but if they stay fit should be fine in Division 3.
