  1. http://www.rangers.co.uk/news/galleries/item/9583-fans-snap-up-season-tickets RANGERS fans were out in force this morning as the season ticket general sale began for the 2015/15 campaign under new manager Mark Warburton. The Ticket Centre opened at 9am today and there were fans of all ages queued outside ready to join in the rejuvenation of the club by securing their seat for the new season. Further to that, the club sold more season tickets online between 9am and 10.30am this morning than any single day of the renewals period! Our club snapper was there to capture these pictures of some of the fans just moments after they'd secured their seat. Click HERE for more information on the general sale and click HERE to purchase your ticket now:
  2. got two eventually. it said could only buy 1 season ticket online, then I realised I had to add my son to family and friends:facepalm:
  3. I haven't either. will be up early tomorrow to try online.
  4. Home tie v Peterhead https://twitter.com/spflnews/lists/spfl-2014-15
  5. no way was it 30,000 GS.
  6. fantastic effort from those renewing, well done. I will be buying 2 season tickets in the public sale.
  7. McGregor will not start imo, Kiernan will. Also has Eustace signed yet?
  8. Gravestone is over 100 years old and in no condition to have anything carved on it, also the plaque stands out more for people to see.
  9. couldn't make it today but well done to all concerned,
  10. Thought I would put this in a thread of it's own for any bears who wish to attend. this link is from 26/05/2015 from the club site. http://rangers.co.uk/news/club-news/item/9366-memorial-to-moses-at-rosneath OVER the last few years while working on the Founders project we had the pleasure of meeting on a few occasions the late great Sandy Jardine. He spoke often about a memorial for Moses McNeil at the Rosneath churchyard where he is buried but sadly fate was to lend a hand before that particular project was to come to fruition. The plot where Moses was laid to rest has a stone with the names of Duncan Gray (Moses Brother-in-law) and his sisters Isabella and Elizabeth inscribed. Sadly the name of the man who gave our Club it’s name of Rangers doesn’t appear, this would be down to the fact that Moses was the last one to pass away. Today we’re delighted to announce to the worldwide Rangers support that the project will be completed next month by way of an engraved granite plaque which will be placed at Moses final resting place. The Gravestone will also be cleaned and brought back to it’s original condition and the fading lettering re-done. The granite plaque is being donated and the work that will be carried out is at minimal cost which will be met by donations already made to the Sons of Struth Memorial Fund. For this we sincerely thank fellow Rangers supporter David Calderwood and those at the SOS memorial project. A dedication service which will be conducted by the parish minister Rev Christine Murdoch will be held at Moses final resting place at St.Modan’s Parish Churchyard Rosneath Road, Rosneath on Sunday 28th June at 2pm to which all are welcome. This is one I would loved to attend but can't.
  11. any supporters club close to Nottingham? Sheffield possibly?
  12. http://www.rangers.co.uk/news/headlines/item/9499-kiernan-joins-gers MARK WARBURTON has reunited with Rob Kiernan after the defender signed for Rangers from Wigan on a two-year deal. The 24-year-old central defender put pen to paper on his deal this morning as he prepares to work once again with Warburton. The pair worked together at Watford where Warburton coached a youth side that included Kiernan at the Milk Cup in Northern Ireland. They were then reunited when Warburton was Sporting Director at Brentford and brought the player on loan from Wigan. A Republic of Ireland captain at under-19 and under-21 level, Kiernan moves to Glasgow after a loan spell at Birmingham ended in May. He appeared 17 times for Wigan in the first half of last season before featuring in a dozen matches during his loan with Birmingham. Kiernan has previous experience in Scotland where he spent a short spell on loan at Kilmarnock.
  13. I think after his injury, he didn't look the same. It looked as if he had lost weight and was very apprehensive post injury. No idea why he was out for so long.
  14. I'm not sure there was any next of kin, but I do know for other graves next of kin's permission has been sought. Next week there is a memorial service at Rosneath for the restoration of Moses McNeill's grave. I believe Rev Stuart McQuarrie and the local minister will be holding some kind of service.
  15. it's just family markings. there are no Rangers acknowledgements on it. The next step is to level it up and cement it solid, once done they are going to put stones down to make it look more respectable. There is also a bear who will enhance the letters on the gravestone.
  16. only reasons these bassas are doing this is to try and steal our thunder. vile clubs and vile supporters.
  17. as requested by Zappa. Gersnet top arrived this morning and is great quality. sorry I couldn't get Kate Moss to model it, so you'll have to do with the double chin:laugh:
  18. is he singing the sash?
  19. I volunteed to go along on Saturday, to restore the grave that was overgrown(more like a jungle). As you can see below a great effort form the bears that went along. Thanks as ever go to the founders trail http://www.thegallantpioneers.co.uk/ who gave a guided tour of the cemetery afterwards to show some of the graves of the club's past. before after also a nice wee blog written by a young man who traveled from Edinburgh to help. https://famousglasgowrangers.wordpress.com/ all in all a most rewarding day.
  20. Well that was a shock:shock: who would have thought Van Dijk was the best defender in Europe:roflmao:
  21. why are they getting a priority move to CR at the expense of current season ticket holders? are they deemed more important than anyone else? If the survey comes back with a vote against it, then the club should respect the wishes of those currently there.
  22. MASH couldn't even be bothered sending anyone to the meeting. got to ask what was the point? I suspect they knew it wouldn't be passed. are we going to see more pettiness in the near future?
  23. were the results not due out today?
