  1. In what way did I get myslef removed form the RFB? I most certainly did not idolise any of the recent directors.
  2. Congratulations on the new job; we can all celebrate at the next Gersnet Dinner.
  3. Gutted isn't the word I'd use but you are correct that I did not want King anywhere near the Club.
  4. LG is clearly in a league of his own with the rest of our predictions mirroring Rangers recent performances.
  5. Are you suggesting that I didn't champion away fans issues? More than happy to PM you about why the rev may not have lept to my defence.
  6. When I was on the RFB I "championed" the cause of the away fans. I believe the reason was quite different; but I'll leave it at that.
  7. King only spent about £2.5m buying shares, petty cash for him according to your figures.
  8. I got them from GS who oft quoted these figures.
  9. It would have been appreciated if the good reverend had expressed the same sentiments when I was removed but he allowed personalities to get in front of his judgement, which is surprising for someone of his calling. Tom Johnstone is an articulate, clever and thoughtful person. It is unfortunate that his location and job did not allow him to participate more in the work of the RFB. However, I have to disagree with him that the final nail in the coffin was the letter to which he refers. IMO it was the silly and provocative inclusion of Mr Leach's comments about T3B in the Minutes of the last meeting. Whoever was responsible for that effectively terminated the RFB.
  10. There's a difficulty with that in terms of taking work away from folk who need to earn a living but if a call went out for a fan's work day or series of work days on Sundays say, I think that would be a great idea. It would need careful planning and there is Health and Safety issue as well but I think it is do-able.
  11. Isn't King about to pump in £30 million or was it £50 million?
  12. It was directed at me and I have answered it.
  13. I am not trying to be awkward but neither am I going to agree that the boycott did anything other than harm to our Club.
  14. I am very sorry but I have no idea what you are talking about.
  15. Why shouldn't others express an alternative opinion; so we all have to agree with the majority now? What nonsense is that.
  16. The critical situation for investors was Rangers gaining promotion this season and entry to Europe the season after, thus re-building value in the brand and future profits.
  17. I think it was Mr King who made the statement and he has a record of not telling the truth. In any event it is his opinion to which he is entitled and I am entitled to mine.
  18. The directors at the time stated that Ashley offered more money on better terms and they will have to stand up for that, I am in no doubt.
  19. Investors vote with their view of the best way to improve the future value of the Club for themselves or their clients. Sorry I can't answer for the Easdales, I believe they have their own spokesman, according to what I read on here. Not many Clubs can afford to pay two managers at once. I tell you what I would like to know, apart from the Easdale block, who comprised the 33% who didn't vote and why?
  20. It wasn't a case of one or the other. The current Board were removed because Mr King eventually realised that he had to buy shares in the market, or the price came down low enough so that he abandoned his earlier principles, depending on your view, as did T3B and the enormous efforts of RF and RST to build up fans shareholdings as a homogenous group.
  21. I haven't been discourteous to anyone least of all you, GS. I know you hold your views passionately albeit I think you go a bit OTT sometimes, well quite often if I'm honest. I said that I think your Mosad/Nazi comment was wrong (and I explained why) and that you should have had the good grace to withdraw it or it should have been deleted by Admin. That is not discourteous, it is my honest opinion.
  22. A combination of factors including lower revenue and reduced prospects of future recovery due to poor performances on the field. Share price is essentially a matter of supply and demand; recent demand has driven up the price in a small market.
  23. We needed it to pay the wages in January and February as per the statement on 27 January describing the company's financial position as having "been perilous for a number of months exacerbated by lower than expected match attendances"."
