The idiotic pursuit of an unbeaten season in the third tier of Scottish football was utterly self defeating. Knowingly playing a crocked Jon Daly when the League had been won and having the youngsters watch from the stand was a monumental act of folly.

Newcastle have an excellent scouting system that is plain for all to see. The chief scout is Graham Carr, I hold the opinion that his son could do a better job for Rangers than those currently in place.

I wasn't invited to that meeting and wasn't aware that it was taking place. I'm merely the message boy on this occasion and know little more about the meeting other than is contained in those notes.

I can only speak for myself but when I voted I did so on the basis of both the will of the fans and my own conscience based on the available information. There may well be an occasion when where my own view on a particular matter and that of the majority of the fans differ (like during the Whyte and Green tenures) and I'll have to deal with that when it occurs.

It was crystal clear how the vast majority of fans felt on the matter, I'd like think my actions reflected that.
