  1. give what a try? WWIII or reconstuction?
  2. I paid £10 to watch Ally putting the rest to the sword and loved every minute of it. If you google 'question of sport' you'll see him for nowt mate. Don't you just love the Rangers?
  3. Never heard of him but great news
  4. That has opened my eyes further...looking like a can of worms
  5. Hope they show it on the news, a fantastic gesture from Rangers FC and fans.
  6. Maybe should have put this in the Lounge... With all the scandal coming out regarding the BBC and the Government because of ongoing investigations into Jimmy Savile, will there be an investigation into septic fc during the 60s? A big bet Torbett wasn't working alone. Just a thought.
  7. Sorry for chopping up your original post amms, but the Spanish league does ok without a strong league and a bigger budget for Barca & Real. I know you're saying for 'us' but the problem is in front of most football nations not just 'us'
  8. This would fill me with joy if true.
  9. I mistook gs for a ta1g once (sorry mate)...yes I'm very old too
  10. Mr Mhank simply wont move from the status quo...nothing wrong with their finances and Mr Green will think likewise when Rangers are 'back up there'. The idea of giving the opposition our money to threaten our domination is absurd. It will never happen. League reconstruction has run it's course over time and things have slowly went from bad to worse. It's 27 years now since a club outside Rangers/septic have lifted the title and it'll be another 27 before any club will come close. Motherwell won the league in 1932 the only club to do so outside 'us and them' between 1905 and the outbreak of WWII a 35 year period? When the league started up again in peacetime 7 different clubs won it in the first 20 years. We'll need WWIII to save football in this country.
  11. Cant see the mhanks agreeing to 50% sharing why would they? We'd get 50% of 60,000 they'd get 50% of 51,000. That's not fair no matter how much you butter it up.
  12. Hearts director Sergejus Fedotovas is hopeful the club could be loaned money by Vladimir Romanov to stave off the threat of liquidation. However the club still faces a funding shortfall of around £2m to make it through the current season. Fedotovas thanked fans, who are believed to have raised up to £100,000 in the two days since the club was served with a winding up order by Her Majestyâ??s Revenue and Customs. http://sport.stv.tv/football/clubs/hearts/199675-hearts-director-hopeful-vladimir-romanov-could-loan-hearts-tax-bill-cash/
  13. The 'newer' members like Peterhead and Elgin City are dross, so are clubs like Arbroath, Albion Rovers & East Stirling they have been dross for a very long time. In fact I'd say the vast majority of clubs in Scotland are dross. Just my opinion.
  14. The sort of stunt al-Qaeda pulls...sick bastards
  15. He fell out with Souness right enough, but so did everybody else
  16. Rangers are in the dreaded 3rd Division, next year we could be in the 2nd Division meantime the spl have lost notable clubs in the form of Hearts and others? Scottish football hits the skids and Rangers are going there head on from the other side to meet it. Too late...the game as we know it is finished. Celtic continue on in their 'Bate' like crusade and everyone with them in mind follow on....We are all shagged, how shagged we are.
  17. As a Scot, who uses to all things Scottish along with a 'guidey' why did we use an engerland mob? I like haggis and neeps, I like mince and tatties too...but why the fuck are we going to engerland to save our ass? Scotland is a little behind the times...no wait.
  18. East Stirlingshire play at Ohilview Park home of Stenhousemuir, the ground sits 12,000 ft below sea-level, it is the lowest football park in the world and because of the winter solstice darkness descends on the 17th of November - 8 times every 10 years earlier than anywhere on the globe. The ground unfortunately has no floodlighting due to an ongoing dispute with Stirlingshire council over an electricity bill from 6 years ago, (the last time Stenhousemuir played on November 17th). East Stirlingshire FC asked fans if they were able to help to get a 3pm kick-off with contributions into the "Friends of Earth" fund, but refused. The kick-off time was therefore decided on a 12.45pm time since it wont get dark before the game ends. The SFL have confirmed that the referee in charge will not add any more than 3 minutes injury time due to circumstances.
  19. It's got to do with everything mate.
  20. Totally agree, but what about the lads in there who support C*lt*c wonder what these guys make of it all.
  21. Barca wont win the CL this year, just like last year. Opposition teams in Europe know how to play them now. Christ!! Even Lemmon's got them sussed.
  22. Paul Gascoigne has been announced as the headline act at Northampton Townâ??s next big dinner date in the new year. An Evening with Paul Gascoigne is being staged by the Cobblers, in association with the Business Times and Gala Casino in Northampton. The dinner will be held at the Park Inn hotel in Northampton town centre, on Thursday, January 31, 2013. Gascoigne will talk about his colourful football career, that saw him play for the likes of Newcastle United, Tottenham Hotspur, Lazio, Rangers, Middlesbrough and Everton, as well as, of course, England. Standard tickets for the night are £55 plus VAT, while VIP tickets are £85 plus VAT. http://www.northamptonchron.co.uk/sport/football/cobblers/gazza-booked-in-for-northampton-town-dinner-date-1-4456835
