  1. Really not sure of the best XI. You cant have Tierney and Robertson, its one or the other. Tierney has been brilliant for Arsenal but injury prone and Robertson hasnt been as good as previous. I think Aberdeen have scooped by getting Gallagher in from Motherwell - he is a good centre half. Im surprised the St Johnstone back 3 cant get a look in though - they have done well this season. Gordon Patterson Hanley Gallagher Tierney McTominay Gilmour Forrest Armstrong Fraser Adams
  2. Glad he has finally dropped McBurnie - he is awful. Patterson has to be starter - its a position that has been lacking for years.
  3. Looks like Leicester have done it again - slipped out of the top 4 two years running. Good win for the Hammers - should finish 6th now which is fantastic. Allardyce and Hodgson first manager causalities so far. Not surprising. But for Fat Sam its all about him - his statement makes it look like he is doing West Brom a favour.
  4. He's just a mink. Trying to make himself look better on PLZ but when he joined that he could barely string a sentence. But very good footballer.
  5. The ? means it wasnt your language or you need an explanation? The guy is a mink. Every second word is "listen" "Listen". Horrendous vocab skills. Thats my opinion.
  6. Yes as per Mr Scott. Dundee for me. Even though Charlie Adam plays - decent player but a horrendous human being when you watch him.
  7. Quick question on VPN folks. Excuse the question, its really beginner stuff - but hey-ho I can drive a fast car and have no idea how its made - IT is the same - can use the stuff but the software isnt my area. When installing a VPN can you still run your current anti-virus? And is it required? Additionally should you still renew anti-virus with a VPN or has the latter have all covered?
  8. Good question and 2 or 3 of their players are linked with big moves. They wont do a Sheff Utd thats for sure. Average clubs that come up are good for the likes of Brighton and Burnley etc who hover around the bottom half as they are a team to beat who will stay under them. It isnt good for the league. Where as Leeds have been awesome this season and established themselves as a PL club again - they go 8th tonight with a win. Also Wolves have been the same. Norwich - I just cant work out. Excellent in the early days of the Premiership. I like the manager despite his high pitched voice and if they lose 3 players for 70 million they wont replace them. Edit - By doing a Sheff Utd I meant being top 9 in the first season rather than appalling second season.
  9. Aye, stick to Rangers predictions ? Thats said both ties are still in the balance. 1-0 in both is nothing at half time. You never know - that scoreline might benefit Barnsley, they could come all out guns blazing. They way they have been this season its possible. Same for Brentford. Bar two stupid draws in March / April where they lead in both games, they have been the second best side in the league.

Does that mean GS is a bit of a Stallion? ? Hope you have a great day GS.
  11. Harry Kane tells Spurs he wants to leave. Totally correct move as he needs to move onto one of the elite clubs. He is a class act and comes across very measured and mature off the park. I hope he stays in the PL and breaks Shearers goal record and I think he can get very close. For me he should go to Man Utd. I know they signed Cavani for another year who is brilliant and will get 20 goals IMO but Kane will get near 30 in that team. If they add someone like Declan Rice and a top centre half then they will challenge. He will suit Man Utd style of play better also. Man City - Kane would have to adapt his game and also go from being the top man at Spurs to being on level par with about 5 City players. He will score goals for fun but I am not sure Pep's style is right for Kane. That said if he wants trophies then City is the place to go. City would be better off going for Son from Spurs. Chelsea - Would fit them good but not sure he will cross London for Spurs massive rivals. I think the Spurs fans could actually accept him going to Manchester but not Chelsea.
  12. There has been so many good performances and consistency that this might be the first time ever that there is no right or wrong answer to the POTY question anywhere. Plus the for and against arguments seem to be accepted by all - that just reflects how good the players have been.
  13. Advantage Bournemouth and Swansea. The latter should be ok with an away win taking that back to Wales. Brentford still very much in the tie going into the home leg and could overturn it.
  14. Yeah when it gets to this stage experience helps. Like you say if its not the Bees then Id prefer the Swans. As Rousseau says the championship play offs are good value.
  15. Im sticking with McGregor. He simply lays on the wow factor and takes the breath away with some saves. I dont think his influence can be under estimated also on and off the park. It must give the back 4 confidence to play knowing McGregor is behind you.
  16. My points per game would put me right up in the European qualifying spots - I'll play a full season in 21/22 and be a challenger. Fantastic job Rousseau.
  17. Saw this last night from a distance while driving, couldnt make it out and was wondering about the colours were about - only until I saw later it was for 55! Unbelievable.
  18. Jammy Liverpool, unlucky for the Baggies. Good win for the Blades though - how bad have Everton been at home! Midweek games with crowds back in the stadiums which will be good to see. Man Utd 3-0 Fulham Southampton 2-2 Leeds Brighton 0-3 Man City Chelsea 2-1 Leicester Everton 1-0 Wolves Newcastle 2-1 Sheff Utd Tottenham 2-0 Aston Villa Crystal Palace 1-2 Arsenal Burnley 0-2 Liverpool West Brom 1-2 West Ham
  19. Play off first legs today. Bournemouth v Brentford Barnsley v Swansea As good as season Barnsley have had I think Swansea will be in the final. I hope they will met Brentford but have a feeling they will come up short again and Bournemouth v Swansea will be the final.
  20. That was unlucky. Close but no cigar as they say. West Ham form has ended, ran out of steam at the last furlong. Top 4 was a tough ask but 5th would have been great. Now if Spurs win today it will be a fight with Everton for 7th.
  21. Poor first half, better second half. Cracking goal from Leicester and Schmeichel had two McGregor esk saves. When Mount hit his shot it was in but what a save. The VAR decision is laughable, thats the closest one ive ever seen. Well done Leicester - I hope they go on and finish top 4. Its good to see the top 6 being split up.
  22. Holy shit - thats awesome. Ive watched that about 100 times. What a bouncy.
  23. Predictions were in the Premier League thread but perhaps a wee FA cup thread of its own. For me the FA Cup has really been diluted in the last 15 years. I cant think of a good final since the new Wembley has been open, perhaps the Arsenal comeback against Hull in 2014. Various reasons for the dilution for me. 1) Its become more commercialized and doesnt need to be. 2) Other competitions have made it less interesting. 3) The 5pm kick off is just wrong, it should be 3pm all day long. it looks more like the Community Shield these days rather than the FA cup final 4) The new Wembley itself doesnt have the same feeling as the old Wembley, even Cardiff was a much better venue for the 6 finals it held. 5) Additionally the semi finals at the likes of Villa Park added some spice. However for some reason todays fixture has a good feeling about it and will have two very good sides really wanting to win it. That said I went for 0-0 but it could easily be 2-2. A big boost is there will be 20,000 in the ground to give it some atmosphere, as good as that is it will still not be a quarter full. I'll still opt for Leicester to lift the cup on pens.
  24. Magic. Was certainly my vote. Some of his saves have been out of this world. He has put in 10/10 performances. I was a massive Klos fan but in the last 18 months McGregor has easily surpassed Der Goalie. There was an argument during his first spell if he was as good. But this season he has been that good it has been mooted if he is Gers best ever keeper - going beyond 'The Goalie'. I loved Goram massively but characters aside and purely as a keeper I have to think McGregor now will go down as 'The' No.1. - this would be an interesting forum discussion alone. Kent, Barisic, Goldson, Tavernier and Davis have all been fantastic and there is an argument for everyone of them as best outfield player. When Kent hits form and produces 10/10 games nobody in the league can touch him. Barisic is a constant 8/10 every game and his deliveries have been brilliant - he is a class act. Goldson - A rock and a leader even without the captains armband and played every minute - he will go down as part of the defence that broke records. Tavernier - first half of the season especially was on fire and his goalscoring record even with pens is ridiculous for a full back. Integral this season. I was actually think someone like Arsenal could come in for him he was playing that well. Will go down as the captain that stopped their 10. Davis - what can you say - except an example to all players. Not only that outfield 5 though - the full squad deserve their recognition this season.
  25. A bit of an goal fest at St James' in what was obviously a match with nothing on it.
