I thought Goldson was fine up to the goal and he got caught out there. That unsettled him for a while but he got back in control. I may of course be overestimating him.

I wasn't that impressed and i am a bit less convinced of improvement. we were excellent in our previous 2 league games or certainly a lot better than this. that in fairness doesn't factor in the pitch and Livi. 1-3 away to livi is a result the rest would be delighted with. One Celtc couldn't get. We will need to be better v Hibs. The quality of the goals though was incredible.

Shame Roofe could be really dangerous in the number 10 role.

You were slagging Kamara at H/T so fickle I went for Goldson though he was great and his long balls are an important part of our game. Morelos as you say took his goals well. Kent if he had scored 1 0r 2 would have walked it.

I suspect if we watched the game back with the pressure off we would view things little differently. Also as has been said expecting to much change after 2 days is unrealistic. I though there were promising signs though.

I thought there were a lot of good signs last night. we moved the ball faster. We played higher up the park and pressed the ball high up. Got both goals from doing so. we were more aggressive at the back our attitude was much better. We were far less predictable. McGregor made a save or two and what saves they were. Makes you wonder what was going on under Gerrard to be honest. Some of the old habits crept back in at times but that will get better with more coaching time.

I think we saw they were.

That's theoretically all our best players more or less. They either prove that to be the case or drop out. Certainly you hope that's how it works now. Gio will be under pressure from the off here if it goes wrong. personally i find it quite funny.
