Imagine the furore if Kent had punched Brown.

We must have some sort of clause with Forest the amount we play Worrall. So many times, I've thought Gerrard will drop him and give someone else a run.
But at the most it is one game and he's back.
He has had good games for us, especially when he keeps it simple. But like when we drop him. It's one game then it is back to the poor performances.

shoulda buried that.

I don't think it is corrupt. Inept would be a better description.

I think McGregor has been lucky this season not to have already been sent off.
I didn't think this one was red more yellow for me but I can see why it would have been red.

so just ignoring the rescinded red then ?
Not ignoring anything. Morelos gave the referee a decision to make. Referee made one albeit the wrong one. We threw away 2 points.
Not laying it all at his feet but his red card was a contributing factor to that.
Anyway Defoe has scored my blood pressure has lowered ?

One rescinded. Who needs enemies eh ?
Nothing to do with enemies. He consistently and needlessly gives referees a decision to make.

Needlessly involved ? McKenna is dragging him to the ground and his momentum brings them together.
Yeah, needlessly involved. He's been leaving legs, arms, and elbows in all night.
All for putting yourself about. But he's had 3 red cards against them this season. It's unacceptable.

I don't think Morelos's was a red - he got tangled but he wasn't trying to stamp on McKenna - McKenna, on the other hand, definitely lashes out with a boot.
Needlessly involved again though. We're trying to win a big game and he's doing that.
Because of his antics he missed Aberdeen semi and now he'll miss big game against Killie.
It's just so needless, just play the game.

Morelos needs to calm down.

The Tavernier criticism has always confused me. People want him hung, drawn and quartered when he's beaten to a header by someone who specialises in that area. But I think there's something wrong when we are so reliant on our right back for creativity. We normally play with 3 attacking midfielders and they shouldn't be shown up in the assists stats by Tavernier, it's not sustainable.
Arfield is the only attacking midfielder with pass marks on this measure with 6 assists. More than Kent and Candeias combined who have 2 and 3. Mikael Lustig has the same number of assists as Kent and Candeias combined. Let that sink in for a moment.
If we're going to win a league I think we need more quality in the creative department and I hope Davis alleviates the problem in the short term but I'm hoping that the failure to recruit a real creative player in this window is due to budget and player availability at this time of the year rather than a genuine belief that what we have is good enough.
I don't think we're over reliant on Tavernier. But do agree our attackers could offer more.
I think the type of midfielders we have aren't those types of players to offer creativity. However, I think Arfield's contribution for the type of player he is, has been nothing short of phenomenal.
Attacking wise, Kent and Candeias have both had good season's but could and should offer more in terms of breaking down the Killies of this world down. Lafferty isn't an impact player in my opinion and think for us to get the most out of him he should start. So he will always look poor because of his role.
I hope Davis offers the spark our midfield is seeking in the short term or perhaps a fully fit Dorrans. But I fear Dorrans may well leave in the summer.

Lets ignore his goals as those dont impress you.
That level of assists is ridiculous players regularly hitting double figures on assists are like hens teeth.
Fully agree. As an attacking option Tavernier's contribution to us has been fantastic.

I can quite happily watch football in the house with the commentary turned off.
There are so many that just seem to spout crap just for the sake of saying something. It is dismally boring and offputting.

It's all very well saying this, this, and this. But we've not played very well.
Second to the ball far to often.

I think Lafferty has been scapegoated. Every time we’ve lost this season people talk about how the team needs time to gel yet Lafferty l’s appearance have been gets late substitutions in games where we are already struggling, and a few games where he has deputised for a suspended Morelos. Lafferty is never afforded the charity of needing time to gel with his fellow players and get used to his position he’s just thrown under the bus and people want him gone.
I agree, I think Lafferty just needs a goal or 2.

He'll be saying the SFA lay down to Rangers next.
Good to see him hurting. Long may it continue.

What’s in this for Bournemouth? They make a small saving in wages? and get back a guy who will be almost 38 with virtually no sell on possibility. Not that I’m bothered about Bournemouth.
They'll be saving in his wages. Don't imagine we'll be paying it all. But likely a large percentage. We'll also likely be paying a fee for him also.
Also think he's done with Bournemouth once he goes back. Could be wrong about that though.

The reality is we won one game today by the narrowest margin. We won it well and it’s great it was against our main rival.... but it’s still only three points and brings no trophies. Let’s keep our feet on the ground.
That's true.
First win against them though since our return. I'm going to savour it for the winter break.

I'd take Shinnie good solid player with a bit of dig about him. He's the sort of player we need.
Along with a creative midfielder and another goalscorer.

It's hard to take sides or offer support when we don't really know what occurred. Similarly to whatever happened with Barton.
Apparently both were overly passionate after an Old Firm defeat. Which on the face of it, I want the players to be after losing any game nevermind Celtic.
