Croatian football has a great record of producing future talent. Look at Modric, Rakitic and Kovacic. 

I'm not saying we're world beaters but it's a result not to be sniffed at.

Played in Laudrups debut at Ibrox against Motherwell.  Thoughts go out to David and his family.

I visited Villa Park last year.  Archibald Leitch got a lot of mentions during the tour as did Ibrox and Rangers. 

Also the name of John Cleese's character in a Fish Called Wanda.

I forsee Miller becoming the next Ferguson and Boyd.

It showed a massive weakness, in my opinion.

His position was untenable when the chairman was publicly undermining him and he couldn't strengthen his position with results. 

Old pros will smell blood in that circumstance and go for the jugular.  

Which, I think creates a situation where the board have to intervene.

Gerrard was always the type of player, that was the engine for the team he was playing for.

He never changed his playing style and it caught up with him. If he had he might still be playing.

Sadly this appears to be something we are doing consistently at the moment. 

I fully concur that we need to move to a position where we are self funding and sustainable. 

I fear that will now be some time off. As we lost perhaps our best opportunity to achieve this when we were in the lower leagues.
