You really seem to underestimate the urgency of us returning to the top flight. Should Celtic fans also not buy season tickets due to risk of 'vultures'?

Considering we had a brand new company set up and weren't even allowed to play a football match until the 11th hour i'd like to know what your grand plan was for our survival if you're saying fans shouldn't have bought tickets.

Considering football clubs are expected to make signings during summers and offer them contracts worth thousands a week i'd say it's a bit different, and up front income is crucial to being able to plan ahead. Relying completely on game to game income isn't viable, you only have to look at how attendances can drop throughout a season, sometimes the way fixtures and cup draws work out you have no home games for about a month and in the summer there are no games at all. If we had England type TV money it may not matter so much but that's obviously not the case and European income is a lottery as we've showed with several qualifying defeats. Costs would need to be cut to ridiculously low levels (even more than they already do) for your vision to work.

I know the culture is relatively new but you can't change a culture back 20 plus years just like that. I never said alone but it's the core source of capital surely? It's not as if we're in the Premiership where TV money by itself can probably cover most things.

Being brutally honest you'll struggle to find a football club, high profile ones anyway, that doesn't treat fans with contempt.

Sorry but if people are going to go down this route they need to accept the reality of what it is rather than talking like it's simply deciding to not shop at a supermarket.

In a legal sense obviously not but this isn't simply about legalities. Numbers may fluctuate but I'd think there's a regular number of season tickets sold every year that have always kept us going, and if people are withdrawing that in a concerted effort to starve the club of funds then I certainly call it withholding money.
