  1. You say the same about a murderer? Extreme example obviously but the point is you can't put every misdeed down to a 'mistake' or whatever. No mistake anyway, these rats were interested in themselves and only themselves, I wish them every failure.
  2. It's the best that was being offered, we'd have needed a billionaire willing to throw his cash around for it to get much better. Whether they get money from individuals or not is up in the air and will take months of court cases I imagine, as far as the club is concerned they aren't getting more than the CVA offered. Not that I blame them, and i'd love to see some people put in the dock for what they've done to us.
  3. Everton will have their usual second half of season burst to finish 8th or something, and win nothing again.
  4. Still more than they're getting from the liquidation asset sale I imagine. HMRC said themselves it wasn't really about value, so i'd say it was getting rejected unless the pot was around the 50 million mark, even then it may have needed more. The CVA proposal was approved by the courts so I don't have any doubt it was genuine, and Duff & Phelps would be finished as an insolvency firm if they put out a CVA intending it to fail for whatever reason.
  5. The courts wouldn't approve a proposal 'designed to fail'. Besides, the revenue said at the time of rejection the big reason was wanting to do an investigation, so no amount would have made a difference unless it was practically paying off the debt in full.
  6. Very worst of luck to him TBH.
  7. We can be a Scottish club while being out of Scottish Football, I can't see it happening but i'd be satisfied if it did. Everyone here hates us.
  8. Indeed, it doesn't actually stop you signing players, you just can't play them,
  9. I just have to hope a certain forum isn't too representative, I'm personally someone holding fire because there's no league to play in yet but it's clearly about 'starving' Green out for at least a small number.
  10. It doesn't matter if the presentation was a crayon drawing, made 0 difference.
  11. My conscience tells me it's a no brainer once a league, any league, is confirmed.
  12. He doesn't want to throw his full weight behind someone after Whyte etc, fair enough, believe it or not i'm not the head of a Charles Green fan club. But being skeptical can only go so far, and if people can afford it they should not walk away.
  13. Also said he would himself in our position.
  14. No cryptic Green out message? Do FF want Ally out yet?
  15. Join it mate, GS free zone and all.
  16. Then I don't want them anywhere near us. Proper 'Rangers men' should be willing to invest even if it isn't their own consortiums heading.
  17. If he's really in as much trouble as that why is he not interested in a panic sale? There's no profit to be made by just letting the club shrivel into nothing.
  18. How is it ridiculous? We're all entitled to name our own price for something we own, whether someone will pay it is another matter. It's hard to debate if you believe the Duff and Phelps conspiracies, because i'm unlikely to be able to change your mind. I will say, administrators are duty bound by the courts to get the best possible deal for the creditors. If The Blue Knights or whoever else really think they had a better bid turned down for Green's then they'd have very good reason to complain to the courts, and Duff and Phelps would be finished as an insolvency firm if they were found to have deliberately rejected better deals for the creditors. But since Paul Murray, Brian Kennedy etc haven't made any such official complaint that rules out any possibility of the process being rigged for me, no matter how much bluster they came out with.
  19. We have no league to play in yet, that will be a bigger factor than John Brown. Renewals will go up when whatever division is confirmed.
  20. 20 million is not impossible at all for the likes of McColl and Park to offer between them. If they don't want to however, then simply let Green and co get on with heading our recovery.
  21. Frankly, yes. Not as if they didn't have the chance to outbid him in May is it? Green and co bought us, so there's no obligation for him to just sell up to anyone that comes along.
  22. Staying clear because they do not care enough.
  23. John Brown's 'bid' involves trying to make fans do all the dirty work.
  24. From what I hear he improved them financially. The fans don't like him because he sold a couple of players and they think it cost them promotion, but their history is full of missing out on promotions etc. Besides, if we'd sold our best players on a more regular basis under David Murray we may not have this mess today. Green just needs to get us back on a good footing, trophies aren't really a huge concern right now.
