  1. LOL how many businesses has he actually got which are trading & making money?
  2. Thought this trial was just about when Whyte got Rangers from SDM?
  3. Of course he could set hmself up for life. But it will be at the expense of a football career.
  4. Good luck Billy. You'll certainly need it. Money talks & you'll certainly get that at Chelski. Only problem is the football Billy. They've got so many like you who will be nowhere near their first team squad so they punt them all out on loan. Last I heard they had something like 37 out on loan but no idea if that figure's accurate anymore..... Sadly we now have another ' might have been' who has now sacrificed his career for short term financial gain. Very sad IMO
  5. He's been injured ever since he arrived more or less. Hence the move for Jack. As SAF always said before signing a player - check his attendance record. Pity we never did that with Rossiter. Jack, however, is fine.
  6. Makes sense if true. We need a defensive MF player. Barton left & it looks to me PC has made his mind up early doors about Rossiter.
  7. This is different from anything previous. Much more serious. And the SFA might end up being told what to do. This is a criminal investigation.
  8. With all due respect comparing this to what happened at last year's SC final is just nonsense.
  9. The SFA can no longer sit back & pretend nothing happened at Celtic. They must take action.
  10. They're not all dead
  11. If it is proven Hibz tried to cover this up then they should face the full force of the law & those involved should be prosecuted where possible. The SFA would then need to consider what action to take against Hibz
  12. To me the documentary was an attempt to show the problem was widespread throughout Scottish football & not just at Celtc. It hasn't worked out like that.
  13. Tick, Tock......the clock is ticking. What action will the SFA take if there is found to have been cover-ups by our chums from the East End? Demotion to league2 & a five year European ban will do for starters.
  14. Do you expect anything else ? I wonder if Daly regrets making that documentary the other night
  15. We are beginning to see the end of an era for the Messi-Barcelona team which is now past its best.
  16. Just proves why we need to get out of Scottish football
  17. what we now know is abuse took place within Celtic's Boys club during the 60's, 70's, 80's and 90's. Over quite a long period of time I'd suggest. And no one knew anything about it & never reported it. Spare me the nonsense also that their BC is a separate entity from the club itself. If there are further criminal convictions will the SFA continue to bury its head in the sand & pretend nothing's happened or it can't do anything? how much longer can this non-action continue ? And last night's BBC programme was nothing more than an attempt by Daly to try & fool everyone that it wasn't just his club, Celtc, who were affected and that other clubs were affected too. Unlucky Mark. Your club has by far the biggest problem here. It will be a national scandal if Celtc aren't handed out some of the severest punishments ever handed out to a football club.
  18. My understanding was that at Rangers Neely allegedly made inappropriate suggestions to a youngster whose father was a policeman. I'd say it was extremely unlikely therefore the police were unaware of this. Is his a Mark Daly documentaty per chance ? Trying to divert attention away from Shellik maybe ?
  19. The OP says Rangers informed the police about Neely when they found out about him. Don't forget the issue isn't just abuse but whether a club tried to cover it up. And remember there's McCafferty still to come. Worrying days over the East End I'd say
  20. I think you may have misunderstood what I was saying. It is not child abuse it is the attempts to cover it up we are talking about here. From comments I've read from individuals around at the time I'd say that looks quite a strong possibility in the Torbet case. Child abuse was unfortunately widespread before safety measures were put in place to at least try to reduce it & identify those involved. No organisation was safe from these people with perhaps the BBC & Savile now being the most well known case
  21. If,after an investigation, Celtic were found to have tried to cover up this child abuse then at the very least they should be very heavily fined indeed. A precedent must be set.
  22. After paying out a fortune they did
  23. This needs investigated by the SFA.
  24. No we don't. Not if a proper investigation takes place.
