Supreme Court Case - Hearing 15 & 16 of March
RANGERRAB replied to der Berliner's topic in Rangers Chat
Let's say oldco wins this case. Got rather a lot of money then hasn't it ? There's the £5.5m Greenco paid for the assets in 2012. Then there's the £24m(!) BDO got from CB. And if BDO successfully sue D&P for £29m then that's a tidy sum of somewhere between £50-60m depending on figures used. That money should easily pay off any outstanding debts should it not ? And if Whyte gets convicted who owns oldco with its cash in bank ? -

Ally McCoist: Don't blame me for failure of Resolution 11
RANGERRAB replied to ian1964's topic in Rangers Chat
In my humble opinion McCoist has never forgiven King for not reinstating him as manager when the new board took over almost 2 years ago. And there was absolutely no chance of this happening. None whatsoever -
I'd thank WS for his recommendation. After his last recommendation(McCoist) I think we'll pass on this one.
-
I always thought it would have been extremely difficult to get someone like this from an EPL club. Especially Southampton with their set up.
-
Anyone any idea how much money we're likely to make from these two semis against the yahoos this season ? Bet SR. isn't complaining
-
This whole thing is total non-story. Utter nonsense
-
I got it the wrong way round then ? Must be slow news day then

We had to endure Keevins on Synde on the supporters bus on the way home yesterday. Very bitter man indeed. Even McCulloch had to point out to him, regards the Garner incident with Imrie, that if the referee considers it reckless he can give a yellow card but if he considers it dangerous he can give a red card But Keevins was having none of it. It was red all the way for Shug. Rangers winning 6-0 is just too much to bear for some in our mhedia. Nothing has changed in our absence over these past few years it seems
-
Got to laugh at these two clowns. I presume their ' unnamed sources' are the Sunday red top rag which ran this so-called story
-
There are ways around that. Put one of the clubs in someone else's name for example
-
I think he can very easily do that. The numbers add up. If he gets to 30 percent shareholding he'd need to make an offer for the rest. He's effectively got his own 10 percent plus 16 percent proxy. Have King & T3B boobed by not increasing their sharehlding once taking control?

Lionel Messi adds Moussa Dembele to Barcelona wish list
RANGERRAB replied to ian1964's topic in General Football Chat
Presumably the DR phoned Messi & asked him if he thought Dumbele would be a good signing for Barca -
I think after BREXIT EU players will still be able to come to the UK and play as they are just now. The EPL would struggle without them
-
What about all the Brazilian players who come over to Portugal & get Portuguese passports ? They don't require work permits Like to think this is one option Caixinho would think about if he gets the job.
-
If you're going to go on trophies won then you'd best go for McLeish. Good luck with that one. You'll certainly need it. Regardless of who went we for on the alleged lists there would always be risk attached. Caixinho seems an experienced coach with plenty contacts which we will need.
-
I don't think it's lightweight at all. One thing we now need is someone with global contacts to recruit better quality players at affordable prices. Caixinho ticks that box. This was the major drawback of having MW as manager whose recruitment seemed limited to the most expensive league in the world i.e. England. I think many wanted F de B but to me that was always a non-starter for financial reasons alone
-
When I first saw Caixinho's name mentioned I thought he'd be favourite. If he is the next Rangers manager then it is a very bold & imaginative appointment even with a bit of risk. Appointing the likes of McLeish or McInnes would be easy appointments which, if they flopped, would have left the Rangers board open to much criticism. Portuguese coaches generally seem to be doing quite well at the moment don't they?Who had heard of Marco Silva until he arrived at Hull City a few months ago & turned things sround big style. If Caixinho was to do likewise at Rangers there would be few complaints would there ?

With all due respect Toral is a vastly superior player to Hutton
-
He's short of match sharpness. Sitting on the bench at Grenada for the first half of the season did him no good
