We need someone with record of success at a high level( as player and/or manager) & a presence that makes the yahoos uneasy. Gerrard did that although I doubt very much he’ll be back Also we need someone who can handle yahoo media and will call out the refereeing of Walsh, Clancy, Robertson etc.

Bailey Rice needs to go out on loan somewhere to get game time. He’s not ready for the Rangers first team yet.

Watching the BF interview after the game where he talks about players not doing what’s being asked of them ‘individually and collectively as a group’ makes me wonder if he’s lost the dressing room already

Of course the more you pay for a player doesn’t guarantee anything but our recent record of looking around for bargain basement signing & OOC’s has bombed spectacularly too often e.g proper, Souttar, Lawrence etc beating Celtic twice means nothing if we’re 17 points behind them

You’re not seriously suggesting when they’re spending £30m and we’re spending a fraction of that we should expect to finish above them? Until our finances change or we somehow unearth better players from somewhere at low cost then second is about as good as we’ll get at the moment. I don’t particularly like that but that’s how things are at the moment

Clement was given peanuts to spend last summer while Celtic were spending £30m.

To be fair the youth/amateur set up in Scotland nowadays does them no favours. After u18 if they don’t get picked to play for any of the u21 sides affiliated to any of the clubs in the pyramid structure they have to go to amateur. Many aren’t ready for amateur football and others just pack the game in altogether. I believe there may be moves afoot to change this though

Clement was never going to be there next season but the appointments of BF & co was a knee-jerk reaction which hasn’t shown any improvement. We’re now in negative goal difference GD since BF & co took over….let that sink in

I’ve just watched the highlights. Two horrendous errors by Souttar & one by Liam Kelly went unpunished. Maybe a draw wasn’t a bad result after all yesterday. Just shows how far we’ve fallen this season ☹️

This current team reached the last 8 of the EL. It’s the performances in the domestic league which are the problem

And poor signings i.e. low cost signings & out of contract signings

We have been conceding far too many goals all season and it seems to have got worse since BF took over. Whoever the Rangers manager is next season top priority must be two CB’s

Bain was cannon fodder for liewell who was by now in cahoots with the SFA and SPL. Who can forget that SC replay at CP with all those red cards. We needed a much stronger CEO back then

Bain was posted missing before & after Whyte came in and subsequently binned him. At least Paul Murray called out whyte before he took over but was ignored by everyone including Murray & the SFA

If he’d been banned recently by his own FA why was he refereeing European matches so soon after ? Were UEFA aware of the ban?

Might have been a different story if the referee had done his job in the first half and awarded a penalty & sent off the defender.
